The Hawks season is on the line in this game. If they can somehow defeat the Raiders, it will give them a chance to go into the 2nd round of 4 elite teams in a best-of-3 series. If they lose, their season will come to a crashing, yet disappointing, conclusion. They could be sitting at a 3-0-0 record right now, but unfortunately, they are half that, with a 1-1-1 record. Monday's game will give them a chance to go to 2-1-1.

The Hawks will need extraordinary efforts from #3 Greg Klein, #4 Chad Pasiechnyk, #6 Darren Dreher, #9 Steve Eisler, #12 Curtis Cameron, and #18 Brook Szabo if they hope to win this crucial game. They will also need a solid effort in net from whoever it may be that is replacing Jeannot Oullette, who is moving to Ottawa, Ontario. Jake sawa will get to the game late.

Past games this year between these two teams have had the Raiders winning all 3 meeting by the scores of 15-4, 19-0, and 9-8. The 9-8 game was an amazing, yet surprising effort from the Hawks, even though they didn't have Brook Szabo playing in the game, and the Raiders had a full lineup. Brook will be playing in this game, and maybe that helps the Hawks chances. Also, since the Raiders are totally nuts, maybe there is a chance some of their key players will be suspended.

Either way, the Hawks need a solid effort from everyone involved in this game, or else their season, like I said before, will come crashing down.

Let's face it, the Hawks losing to the Raiders 9-8 was luck. In reality, the Hawks have no chance in hell to win this game. Look for this to be the final game of the season for the Hawks.

Prediction: 24-1 Raiders
