My name is Dan Scotland, a reporter and part-time webmaster here at Hawks House Hockey. I recently had a chance to speak with the Hawks power forward, Greg Klein. Now you know for sure, that we are your primary source for bringing you updates, because this interview was just conducted by yours truly, just minutes ago. Now read below, as I ask Greg, the TOUGH questions:

DS = Dan Scotland
GK = Greg Klein

DS: Greg, I would just like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to chat with you tonight, a little less than 24 hours away from the big game against the Rebels in game #2 of your playoff run.

GK: Well I'm glad I'm getting the opportunity so ask away!

DS: Tomorrow you will lead your team into a game against the Rebels, some would say a very defensive team. But there is another storyline brewing here. This is being dubbed the battle for supremecy of house hockey at Leboldus. Could you explain this?

GK: Yes, this is for bragging rights at school. The Rebels goalie Matt Mazer seems to think that his team is going to walk all over us tomorrow, as does #15 Charlie Brittner. Well, last time we played them, we won 9-4. This is the rubber match. This game will decide just who really does have the bragging rights at school.

DS: Do you have any comments about the game against the Stars on Friday night? I know your team was very dissapointed and it was tough getting comments in the dressing room after the game.

GK: As a matter of fact I do. We played solid in the 1st and 2nd periods, but we ran into some penalty troubles in the 3rd, and they made us pay for it. We're just going to have to rebound tomorrow night against the Rebels.

DS: Yeah, if you guys win, it sure would make my job a little easier! Ha ha ha!!

GK: Heh heh heh, I'll get a goal for you, Danny!

DS: Whoa nelly, what a laugh and a half! My next question has to do with your comments about the regular season. What does it mean to you to be able to say you were 1st place is the league in scoring?

GK: Wow! It was an honor. It didn't really come as a surprise though, because all season I just continually believed in myself, I knew I could do it, and I did. I just wish we had a better record in the standings.

DS: What is the significance of that one move you always do on breakaways? Any special name for it? Or is just based on instinct?

GK: As a matter of fact, it does have a name. I like to call it the The Final Countdown, named after one of my favorite classic songs. And yes, I would say that the Final Countdown is based on instinct, because every time I get on a breakaway, I immediately think "Do the Final Countdown, it works every time," and it does!

DS: Wrapping things up, do you have any comments for the fans that will be in attendance at tomorrow's big game?

GK: Yes I do. In my own words, I say this: You thought the regular season was good? Stay tuned, your in for a show.

DS: Whooooa baby! I'll be in attendance tomorrow night, just look for #3 skating circles around the Rebels! I'll talk to you all again tomorrow when I give a pre-game and post-game update to the page.
