Game #3 vs. Comets

As we said in the preview, tonight's game was crucial for the Hawks. The Hawks provided an excellent game by defeating the Comets 4-2. The scoring summary for the Hawks is below, but before we get into that, there is a very sad situation that comes from this game:

The Comets coaching staff are a bunch of savages. Not only do they call on the other team just because they are losing, they threatened to slit #3 Greg Klein's neck. All I have to say about this is that this doesn't belong in hockey, especially in house hockey. How low can you get? You are at least 40 years of age, yougo to a house hockey game, then basically threaten to kill somebody just because you're mad because your losing. I encourage all fans of this site to go to Hockey Regina Inc and e-mail them about letting savages coach teams. By the way, the coaches names are Bob Low and Doug Seintes. Now we will get to the game's scoring summary:

1. The opening goal by the Hawks came on a 2-on-1. Greg Klein carried the puck up ice after receiving a pass from Darren Dreher...Klein quickly passed the puck to Chad Pasiechnyk who shot it past the stunned Comets goalie. 1-0 Hawks

2. Greg Klein got the next goal on passes from Steve Halbgewachs and Steve Eisler. As Klein stepped over the line, he shot it lightly at the goalie, and it went through his pads. It was a bad goal to let in on the Comets part, but hey, they cried about it. 2-0 Hawks

3. Less than 2 minutes later, Greg Klein rifled a bullet from the slot, on a sweet pass from Curtis Cameron, who somehow got it to Klein after taking a beating in the corner. Mark Smith also assisted on the goal. 3-0 Hawks

4. The last goal of the game by the Hawks was an individual effort by Greg Klein, as he went in all alone on a breakway and put it top shelf on the backhand, much to the amazement of all 12 fans in attendance. Let's just put it this way: it would be the Highlight of the Night on TSN. 4-0 Hawks

There you have it, the Hawks win the game by the final score of 4-2. Though getting roughed up the ENTIRE game by #2, Greg Klein still pulled off a 4 point night. Speaking of #2, he cheaply pulled down Klein, punched him in the face, then gave him a butt-end, in which he got 4 minutes in the box for. One must think that the Comets coaching staff sent him out to do that, considering the fact they were down 4-0, and the game was out of reach.
