Extreme Measures

<The scene fades in to an aerial view of the Continental Airlines Arena and it’s associated parking lot. Off in the distance a man can be seen pounding on a car with a large sledgehammer. A sizeable crowd has gathered outside to witness the rebirth of the EWA. Fans cheer as a camera pans past them, and through an open door into the arena. The camera continues on its way down to ringside, past people buying the latest in EWA merchandise and snacks. The camera arrives at ringside just as the ring erupts in a fury pyrotechnic grandeur. Multicolored showers of flame and sparks spew forth from the ring posts as the capacity crowd yells its approval. The camera pans across the crowd. Several signs are visible including such classics as "Cyris was robbed!", "Artful is my hero!", and "Diane will always be my ho!". That last one is being held by PimpDaddy J who, for some reason, has decided to hang around in the crowd holding up signs. PDJ sees that the camera is looking at him, drops the sign, and runs off into the crowd. The camera continues it’s journey through the crowd and finally comes to rest in front of the announcer’s booth where Richard Riley and Artful are sitting. Richard, in his Hunter Green double breasted Armani suit is sharply contrasted by Artful’s white suit with large blue and yellow polka dots. They both appear to be wearing x-ray glasses. Artful is staring in awe at his right hand. >

Artful: "Oh my god! I can see through my hand!!!! This is unreal!"

Richard: "You really should see what I'm looking at right now!"

Artful: <looks at Richard> "Hey now, you'd better put that thing away before someone chokes on it."

Richard: [takes the glasses off] "Don't be afraid. It's all in your mind. Well, I'm Richard Riley and welcome to a big night in the EWA. Tonight will be the rebirth of the EWA and sitting to my right is the man responsible."

Artful: "Dear god, look at the size of..." <takes off the glasses> "That's right Richard. I have broght the EWA back from the brink of disaster."

Richard: "And tonight will be the culmination of that effort. We have several important matches tonight, all leading up to the huge battle royal that will determine the new champions."

Artful: "It's all about the belts."

Richard: "I’ve just received word that there is a car out in the parking lot with it’s lights on. It’s a gray ’88 Chevy Nova, license plate number LFU-623."

Artful: "Isn’t that Jerry Michael’s car?"

Richard: "I think it is."

Artful: "Jerry, if you can hear me, you left your lights on. Go turn them off."

Richard: "I hate when I do that. The poor guy will probably leave the building and find that his battery is dead."

Artful: "Nothin' worse than a dead battery on a day like today."

Richard: "Yes siree Bob. Our first match tonight will pit a newcomer to the EWA, Eli Flair against the always rough and ready, Drfiter."

Artful: "Rough and ready? You make it sound like drifter is going to actually put up some sort of fight."

Richaard: "Well you do have to give Drifter the nod for always giving a 100% effort, but unfortunately for him, he always makes that fatal mistake that costs him the match."

Artful: "Yeah, his fatal mistake was waking up this morning. And every morning, for that matter. Lets face it, this guy has had one tough life. I suppose you do have to give him some credit. He's a never say die kind of guy. One day things will start to go his way."

Richard: "Maybe that day will be today. Let's go to the ring and see."

Drifter vs. Eli Flair

"Riders on the Storm" cranks up, and Drifter makes his way down to the ring from the back. He slowly walks down the aisle, trying to shake hands with the fans. But they don't care enough about him to extend their hands. Drifter shrugs his shoulders, and climbs into the ring, waiting for Eli. "No More Tears" replaces Drifter's music, as the crowd looks to the entrance, waiting for Eli Flair to come out. He does, looking almost as big as the massive Drifter. He raises his hands, expecting the fans to give him his "props" but no, they don't care about him either. However, from the back a chant starts, and it grows louder, and louder until Eli become angry and starts to shout back. WE WANT RIC, WE WANT RIC!!! Eli is shouting back at them, and doesn't see Drifter come from behind.

Drifter starts out the match with a foot to the back of Eli's head on the outside of the ring. Eli is a bit shaken, but mostly unaffected. He spins around, only to be met with another boot, this time right under the jaw. Eli stumbles a bit, not expecting that, and Drifter grabs him, and flings him into the ring. Drifter follows him into the ring, thinking he is still on the advantage. Eli, though, has recovered to the point of realizing that he can attack.

He lunges at Drifter, who is in between the ropes, catching him off guard. Drifter attempts to sneak back through the ropes, but is totally caught in them. Eli starts to just pound on Drifter as he tries to get in or out, anywhere but in the ropes. Finally, Eli grabs Drifter by the head and drags him into the ring. He scoops Drifter up and throws him back down for a scoop slam. Drifter, shakes the cobwebs, and hops back up. Eli, on the other hand is yelling at a fan, who is holding up four fingers. Eli is threatening him with bodily harm. The kid decides to only use one finger to hold up now, but we won't go into details.

During this time, Drifter has gotten up. He measures, and drives his knee right into the back of Flair's knee, disabling Flair for a second. Drifter sends him into the ropes and levels him with a clothesline. Flair pops right back up, showing off some resiliency, but is met with a running clothesline from Drifter, sending him crashing back to the mat. Drifter does a little pose thingy for the crowd, who responds with a large sigh, mostly because this seems like a filler match to them. Drifter decide she wants to keep wrestling, and pose later. He hits the ropes, and comes back with a big elbow drop. But Eli is already on his way up. Drifter hits nothing but apron. He reacts as if he's just broken his elbow. Eli takes this in stride as he starts kicking him. In the body, in the head, wherever he can.

He picks up Drifter and throws him into the corner. He follows quickly with a body splash onto Drifter. Drifter, who now is a bit hazy, can't stop Eli from climbing up onto him. He starts punching Drifter in the head, wanting the crowd to count the punches. Instead, the "WE WANT RIC" chant starts up again. This time, instead of getting angry at the fans, Eli decided to take out his frustration on Drifter. He picks him up and...Sidewalk slam, down onto the mat. Eli goes for a cover, One...Two.. Kickout!!

Drifter kicked out, just in time. Both men get to their feet, and lock up. Drifter comes out on top, getting Flair in a headlock. Flair gets out of it by running himself into the ropes. Drifter is able to throw him to the other side, into the ropes. As Eli is bouncing off the ropes, Drifter does a rolling thing, ala Konan. But instead of clotheslining Eli, Drifter grabs him, and executes a belly to belly suplex. A cover...One, Two, Th...Kickout!! Just barely. Drifter just about stole a win. He's back up on his feet quickly, Eli is still on the ground, trying to recover from the suplex. Drifter hops up onto the second turnbuckle. And leaps.....Eli catches him right in the jaw with a foot. Drifter is suddenly stunned, big time. He is staggering around the ring. Eli jumps up, and...BULLDOG!!! Drifter is out on the mat.

Eli signals for what appears to be a finishing move. He climbs to the top rope, and again signals. He jumps, looking to go for a shooting star press. But folks, this is one big man. He doesn't get all the way around. His head comes crashing down on the mat, knocking him out cold. But he also falls down onto Drifter, who is out as well. The ref, not sure if either man is conscious, decides to just make the count.

One, Two, Three!!!

WINNER: Eli Flair via something that didn’t go quite as he planned.

Eli comes away with a win. The ref raises his hand, but it simply falls back to the ground. Eventually, both man start to come around, and Eli has to be told that he won the match.

Artful: "What a match! Both men are gonna be feeling that in the morning."

Richard: "What a great effort by Drfiter, but yet again he makes the one mistake that costs him the match. Any thoughts on that?"

Artful: "It sucks to be him."

Richard: "My thoughts exactly. So how does it feel to finally be the head man around here?"

Artful: "Well, to tell you the truth, not a whole lot different. Though I do like the new office a whole lot better."

Richard: "I do have to thank you for giving me the opportunity to host Extreme Tonight."

Artful: "Yeah, whatever. Wait, if I am inderstanding correctly we have a camera crew following Jerry out to his car."

<A camera follows as Jerry Michaels makes his way out to the parking lot.>

Jerry: "I could have sworn I turned my lights off."

<He continues to make his way through the parking lot, wearing his wrestling gear. He scratches his head as he weaves through the parked cars. A sizable crowd of people has gathered around Jerry and begins pestering him for autographs, and begs him not to touch their children.>

Jerry: "Come to think of it, I never turned the lights on…"

<As Jerry and the crowd round a row of cars Jerry stops short.>

Jerry: "WHAT THE…?!?!?"

<Jerry runs over to his car, or what’s left of it. Jerry looks at the heap of twisted metal in disbelief.>

Jerry: "Who the hell did this? …. Wayne………."

<Jerry starts running back towards the arena as fast as he can. Cut back to the announcers booth.>

Artful: "Oh, that poor car."

Richard: "I guess Jerry doesn't have to worry about a dead battery any more!"

Artful: "At this time we would like to turn our attention away from the antics of Jerry Michaels, that child molestin' piece of white trash, and focus our attention on our next match. PimpDaddy J vs Dean McGrath."

Richard: "This should be a real interesting match. PDJ and Dean are certainly no strangers to each other and the bad blood between these tow gets worse each week."

Artful: "With luck, we'll be able to put this fued to rest tonight. As I understand it, Dianne has been getting to know Dean of late."

Richard: "She gets to know many people!"

Artful: "That she does. Lets head down to the ring and see how this chapter of the story plays out."

PimpDaddy J vs. Dean McGrath

PimpDaddy J comes down the aisle, without any entrance music. He seems very upset over his many losses to Dean. He gets into the ring and waits quietly in the corner. "The Sound of Free Speech" plays as Dean McGrath walks out to the ring along with Dianne. Dean is wearing a shirt that says "I hope Tommy Grayson doesn't interfere in my match."

Richard Riley: "HIS SHIRT SAYS "I HOPE MY GAY SON DOESN'T INTERFERE IN MYMATCH"!!!!!!!"

Artful: "That’s Tommy Grayson, not My Gay Son, you idiot."

Richard Riley: "You have a gay son too? Maybe you should talk to Dean McGrath."

<Artful shakes his head.>

Dean stands outside of the ring and gropes Dianne.

Richard Riley: "I would be careful if I were Dianne. Who knows what members of DI Dean has been in bed with."

Dean steps into the ring and stares at PDJ.

PDJ looks outside of the ring at Dianne and she stands with her eyes fixated on Dean's body. PDJ looks like he is about to cry. He gets on his knees and covers his eyes and you can see the tears. Dean goes out side and gives Dianne a kiss before the match begins. PDJ is back in the corner and he can't believe what is happening. Dean gets into the ring and he immediately attacks PDJ. He hits him with a clothesline. He picks PDJ up and throws him into the ropes and hits him with a spinning heel kick. Dean looks down at PDJ on the ground. He climbs the ropes and executes an elbow drop onto PDJ. He picks PDJ up and attempts to put him in a suplex but PDJ blocks it.

He pulls Dean over to the ropes and gives him a lariat over the top rope. He jumps over the ropes and looks at Dianne. He turns around and picks up a chair. He slams it over the head of Dean. PDJ jabs the chair into Dean's stomach a couple times. The chair is thrown on the ground and PDJ does a pile driver onto the cement floor. Dean's head is busted open a bit. PDJ walks over to Dianne. He pleads with her for her to come back but she turns around. PDJ keeps behind her and keeps begging her. Dean gets up and grabs the bell off of the announcer’s table. He runs and smacks PDJ in the head with the bell. PDJ falls down and Dean looks at Dianne. He brings her over and they start kissing overtop of PDJ.

PDJ comes to as they kiss and he hits Dean in the balls. Dean bites down on Dianne's tongue it seems as he goes into extreme pain. You can see some blood coming out of Dianne's mouth. She looks at Dean and then at PDJ. PDJ grabs Dean and lays him over a chair. Dianne comes and SPANKS DEAN MGRATH!!!!!!!!!!!! PDJ laughs and then pushes her away. She looks at him in disgust.

He pulls Dean McGrath into the ring and picks him up and does a shoulder breaker. He throws him into the corner and runs at him. Dean puts a foot up and hits PDJ right in the jaw. He climbs to the top rope and does a flying jump kick to PDJ. He picks PDJ up and sets him up for the Too Bad For You, Ah?. An Inverted Power bomb. He executes the move and goes for the cover.

Winner: Dean McGrath via Too Bad For You, Ah?

Dean motions for Dianne to come into the ring and she does. He goes to give her a hug and she opens her arms. As he walks towards her, she grabs his arm, spins him around and SPANKS HIM AGAIN!!!! Dean looks at Dianne and then walks back to the dressing room. Dianne leaves the ring and PDJ gets up. He goes over and gets a microphone.

PDJ: "Hold on a second."

<Dianne turns around and looks at him.>

PDJ: "Get your ass back in here bitch."

<Dianne steps into the ring. She walks towards PDJ and he BITCHSLAPS HER.>

PDJ: "Now get your ass out here and make some money you whore."

<PDJ throws the microphone on the ground and walks out of the ring leaving Dianne standing in the ring.>

Artful: "Again, Dean wins, and nothing is settled"

Richard: "This will be the last meeting between these two for a while."

Artful: "Or, until Dianne decides to shag Dean-o again."

Richard: "Good point. In that case, they'll probably be wrestling very often."

Artful: "Either that, or become partners in a pimpin' business. Either way it's not going to be a pretty sight. Wait, I'm getting word from the back that Jerry is throwing some sort of tantrum."

<Cut to the backstage area. Jerry Michaels is storming around, kicking open doors.>

Jerry: "Wayne, I know you’re back here somewhere, you cock sucker!"

<Jerry kicks open a door, but finds the room empty. Frustrated and furious he moves on down the line, pushing over a garbage can as he goes. Cut to the announcers booth.>

Richard: "For a big guy, the "Train" sure is good at staying out of sight. He must have played a lot of hide and go seek when he was younder!"

Artful: "Isn't there a law against abusing trash cans?"

Richard: "No, but there should be. Someone call a garbage man quick!"

Artful: "Let's see, next match...next match...oh yes, the tag match."

Richard: "Who's in that match. Some mystery team or something?"

Artful: "Just another easy with for the guys from DI, for what thier worth."

Richard: "Why do we allow those DI jerks to get away with all the stuff they do? Maybe now that you are in charge they'll calm down a little."

Artful: "Damn them. I ought to do something about them. Bah, they arn't worth the effort, let's go to the ring."

Cyris & Suicide King vs. Mystery Tag Team

"No Place to Hide" rips from the speakers in a defiant attempt to kill the audience with noise, but the audience resists. B Nice and 2 Legit to Quit... no, wait, B-Ware and E-Legal come trotting down the ramp, raising their arms in response to a pop that isn't there. When they get into the ring, They start talking smack to the audience, who are chanting "Kill them, kill them, kill them..." Someone holds up a sign that reads "THESE are our mystery wrestlers?!"

Suddenly, "The Suck For Your Solution" Blasts through the speakers, and Band E walk toward the ramp side of the ropes and wait, then laugh when Suicide King doesn't show up. The music suddenly changes. It looks like the stupid sound guy forgot who was coming out first. "Welcome to the Jungle" Rings out, but still no one comes. E and B are laughing so hard, they don't notice the two figures stalking behind them with chairs. The chairs make impacts with the other teams backs, and they fall into the rope and are sling shot to the mat. Cyris and Suicide King are standing over them, and the crowd goes nuts!

The bell rings, and Suicide King picks up B-Ware and delivers a chop that sends him back to the mat. King picks Ware up again and whips him into their corner, just as Legal is waking up. Suicide King points to Legal, getting the referee's attention on the illegal man.... no pun intended... and off of Cyris PINNING B-WARE TO THE TURNBUCKLE!!!! OK, it wasn't THAT exciting, but hey, Cyris has been pissed la- OH MY GOD!! Cyris is literally choking the life from B-Ware while Suicide King pummels him with kicks to the midsection! E-Legal keeps trying to make the save, but the ref keeps pushing him back to his corner! King has brass knuckles on now, and he's really working Ware over, and Cyris is pounding on his head!! Ware does NOT look like he can take much more. The ref finally gets Legal to the corner, and turns, but Cyris has already tagged in... OH!! A HARD Double DDT from the Devastation Inc team! Legal comes out and slams his foot into SK, but Cyris grabs it and hits AN ELBOW TO THE KNEE! Legal is writhing on the ground, and Cyris goes back to work on Ware while King kicks Legal multiple times! It's a bloodbath, ladies and gentlemen, plain and simple a blood bath! Cyris is taking all his frustration out on these two men! Cyris stomps on B Ware's knee hard, almost breaking it, before he goes to work on the helpless E Legal. He picks up the shorter man and hits a MEAN neck breaker! He whips Legal into the rope, then picks up Ware and whips him into the oncoming legal! Both men are out in the ring, and Cyris FINALLY goes for the pin...no! He's pounding on Ware's already broken face, but he's holding the shoulders down! The ref counts...

WINNER: Cyris and Suicide King via.... blood.

Cyris doesn't look interested in stopping! EWA Officials are trying to peel Cyris off, but the big man isn't letting them. Finally, he slams Ware to the ground and stalks out, kicking Legal on the way by. Ladies and gentlemen, the crowd is acting like spectators at a roman gladiator arena!! The EMT's are looking over the other team while DI’s tag team walks somberly down the aisle... no one's trying to stop Cyris... he has murder in his eyes...man, I hope he doesn't kill Fang...

Artful: "Cyris should looks upset. Do you think it was something I said?"

Richard: "Maybe it was that thing about stripping him of the Global title. Hey, Artful, did you strip of Suicide King of the "real" TV title as well?"

Artful: "Damnit, I forgot about that one. Now we'll have to have a tourniment for that too. Cheese and rice!"

Richard: "Rice and, beans, damnit!"

Artful: "BEANS!! We need beans up here! Jeanie, BEANS!!"

Richard: and Rice, damnit and bring Artful some pudding pops!"

Artful: "WOO HOO!!!!"

Richard: "More fun than being jabbed in the eye with a sharp stick!"

Artful: "Hey now, it's all fun angames until someone loses an eye. Maybe Jerry will poke Wayne's eyes out. That'd be fun."

Richard: [pulls out a pocket knife and begins sharpening a stick] "You never know!"

Artful: "Speaking of Jerry and Wayne, they're up next. I wonder what sort of mad cap adventures they'll have tonight?"

Richard: "Just your garden variety, run of the mill mayhem that we've come to expect from the "Train"!"

Wayne "The Train" Rothschild vs. Jerry Michael

"Dead bodies everywhere" by Korn begins to play, and Jerry Michael makes his entrance. He looks a tad upset at the destruction of his car, and ready to kick some ass. The crowd response is mixed as Jerry walks towards the ring. Suddenly, from out of the crowd, the Train tackles Jerry, and begins pummeling him with a length of pipe. Jerry struggles to get free as the Train smashes the pipe down on the side of Jerry’s head. Jerry pushes the train off of him, and begins to fight back. Jerry jabs his elbow into the eye of the Train. Blood pours out of several open wounds on Jerry’s head as he continues to struggle for his life. Jerry, in a desperate move, headbutts the Train. The trains nose explodes in a spray of dark red blood. The Train throws Jerry off of him, and swipes a chair from a nearby fan. Debra Delicious runs out from the back and begins to plead with Wayne.

DD: (crying) "Don’t hurt him, Wayne."

The Train scowls at Debra, and threatens to hit her with the chair. Jerry gets to his feet, and steps between them.

Jerry: "Don’t do it, Wayne. You’ve hurt her enough as it is."

A fire burns in the Trains eyes as he tries to decide his next course of action. His eyes dart back and forth between Debra and an extremely bloody Jerry. The intensity in the Trains face seems to grow exponentially as he tightens his grip on the chair.

Wayne: "You lying sack of…."

The Train slams Jerry across the face with the chair with all of his might, knocking him to the guardrail. Wayne thrusts the edge of the chair down onto Jerry’s throat and begins choking him with it. Jerry struggles for a moment, then passes out. The Train slams the edge of the chair down on Jerry’s head a couple times before grabbing the pipe again, and taking it to Jerry’s ribs. Debra grabs the pipe from him, and starts to back away. The Train starts to stalk towards Debra, muttering several not nice words under his breath. Jerry comes to, and begins coughing up blood. The Train lunges at Debra, who screams and drops the pipe. Jerry struggles to his feet as he spits blood onto the ground. The Train pushes Debra into the guardrail, and retrieves the pipe. He turns to see Jerry reaching for the chair. As Jerry is bent over the Train brings the pipe down on the back of his head. Jerry drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. The Train continues to pummel Jerry as Debra runs into the back. Screaming for help. Security rushes out, and tries to subdue the Train, but he manages to fend them off, but only for a moment. One of the members of the security team sneaks up behind the Train, and stuns him with a tazer. The Trains back arches and he falls into a heap of twitching flesh on the ground. The security team piles in on him. After a moment of yelling and struggling they carry a handcuffed Train out of the arena and into a waiting squad car while several EMT’s are attending to Jerry.

Artful: "Oooh, that's a pain that's gonna linger."

Richard: "Now does this mean that the "Train" will not be joining us late for the big match?"

Artful: "I wouldn't imagine so. Nor do I think Jerry is going to be up for it either."

Richard: "It seems with all the accustaions being thrown at the "Train", he is always "up" for anything!"

Artful: "If he keeps this up, he'll be keeping it up for Bubba in the state prison."

Richard: "Keep it up. You kill me!"

Artful: <laughs> "Now, let's see if Fang can keep from being killed by Cyris. He looked fairly upset in that tag match, and I'm sure he's going to take it all out on Fang here tonight."

Brutus2121: "Fang really shocked everyone when he revealed that he was Gouki. I wonder if he will have any ring rust after spending a considerable time in Davey Jones locker?"

Artful: "Let's go to the ring and find out."

Fang vs. Cyris

The crowd erupts with glee as "You could be mine" by Guns N Roses begins to blare over the PA system. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp, but no one emerges. One nearby fan holds up a sign that read "Where the hell is Fang?". The spotlight begins to search through the crowd, but still cannot find any sign of Fang. Suddenly the skirt around the ring apron begins to flutter, and Fang crawls out from under the ring, looking lost and confused followed by an equally confused Violet. Fang quickly recognizes his surroundings, and rolls into the ring, ready for a fight.

Suddenly the music changes, but not much, as the song changes to "Welcome to the Jungle". Cyris, the extremely angry former Global Champion comes out and stares at Fang. With a blood-curdling yell Cyris darts down to the ring, doing a baseball slide under the bottom rope. Violet takes shelter over by the timekeeper as the fight gets under way.

Fang is quick to nail a dropkick as Cyris gets to his feet. Both men get up quickly, and stare at each other for a moment. Cyris strikes Fang with a double axe handle to the left side of his neck. Fang staggers under the awesome power of Cyris, but manages to block a second attempt of the double axe handle. Fang follows the block with a hard European uppercut that rocks Cyris onto his heels. Fang continues to uppercut his opponent until he has backed him into on corner. Fang drives a knee into Cyris’ gut before whipping him into the opposite corner. As Fang follows up with a running elbow, Cyris moves, causing Fang to hit the turnbuckle hard. Cyris connects with a couple of knee lifts before he decides to slam Fangs head into the turnbuckle. Fang blocks the move, and hits Cyris with a back elbow into the throat. Cyris gasps for breath. Fang slips out of the corner, and nails Cyris with a standing sidekick that sends Cyris through the ropes and to the floor.

Cyris hits the floor hard, and looks a bit dazed. Fang climbs to the top turnbuckle, and waits a moment as Cyris struggles to get to his feet. Cyris shakes the cobwebs out of his head, and looks up just in time to see Fang spinning through the air. The spin wheel kick executed by Fang sends Cyris into the guardrail. Cyris drops to his knees as his back connects with the unyielding guardrail. Fang, on the other hand, lands awkwardly, but manages to keep his balance. Fang walks over to Cyris, with a slight limp, and throws him back into the ring.

Cyris is lying on his stomach, and holding his back as Fang climbs back into the ring. Fang rolls the downed man onto his back, and covers him….1…2…kick out. Cyris climbs to his feet, as does Fang. Fang runs into the ropes, bounces off, but fails to connect with a clothesline as Cyris ducks. As Fang rebounds off the opposite ropes, Cyris lifts his leg, and catches fang right in the jaw, dropping him to the mat. With a couple of stomps for good measure, Cyris covers Fang….1…2……….kick out. The big man gets angry with the ref for what he perceived as a slow count. The ref, who is considerable less muscular than both Fang and Cyris, argues his point well, even getting into Cyris’ face. Cyris turns away from the ref, and back to Fang, who is not where Cyris left him. Cyris looks around the ring for his opponent, who does have a nasty habit of getting himself lost. When Cyris finds his navigationally challenged opponent, it’s to late to stop the roundhouse kick. The ref jumps out of the way as Cyris falls where he had been standing no seconds before. Cyris, rolls backward, and gets to his feet, only to be met with a sidekick that sends him into the corner. Cyris, with a burst of godlike speed, lunges forward and clotheslines into oblivion.

Fang lays on the mat motionless. Cyris pulls him to his feet, but he collapses like so much dead weight. Cyris looks to the ref, goes to check on Fang. Fang twitches, then crawls to the ropes. After pulling himself to his feet, Fang staggers out to the center of the ring where Cyris nails him with another clothesline. Fang, with his never give up mentality, struggles to get to his feet. Cyris whips Fang into the ropes, and connects with a vicious clothesline on the much smaller man. Fang is looking pretty shaken as Cyris drops a knee on his head, followed by several hard, closed fist punches. Things aren’t looking good for Fang as Cyris continues to pound him into the mat. Tasting victory, Cyris pulls Fang to his feet. Cyris picks up Fang for the Death Sentence, but Fang manages to arch his back, and turns it into a huricanrana!! Fang hooks the legs…

WINNER: Fang via Huricanrana of sorts.

Artful: "Oh my goodness, what a move by Fang!"

Richard: "How the hell did he reverse the Death Sentance into a hurricanranna. I guess that answers the question of ring rust. In any event Fang gets the win, but took one hell of a beating."

Artful: "Yes indeed. Cyris has to be shocked by that one."

Richard: "I'm sure he'll be even more angry then he was before. Maybe that will help him in the battle royal coming up."

Artful: "Perhaps. They don't much time to catch thier breaths, though, and that's gonna count against them when it all comes down to it."

Richard: "Very true. I suppose that means it's time for the battle royal. I think Timothy Braddock is standing in the ring now to announce the match."

Artful: "Fantastic."

Battle Royal and Title Tournament

The camera pans around the Continental Airlines Arena. Fans are on their feet in expectation of the important match. The camera focuses on the ring and Timothy Braddock is in the center of the ring holding a microphone.

Timothy Braddock: "Ladies and gentleman, the following match will be a battle royal for the Global Hardcore title. The Winner will be proclaimed new Global Hardcore champion. A wrestler can be eliminated by pin fall, submission or by being thrown over the top rope and touching the floor. The last three men eliminated will return immediately after the match and compete for the North American and Television titles. And now the competitors in the match:"

Wrestlers begin to file out of the back one by one and make their way to thering.

Timothy Braddock: ""The Extreme One" Tommy Grayson….Johnny Sledge….Capital Punishment….Irish Rebel….Drifter….Pimp Daddy J….Lonewolf….Violent Dark….Daddy Desire…."The Real Deal" Kenneth Morlock…."Bomber" Billy Thompson…."Devilchild" Derek Davidson…"The Machete" Brett Anthony….Logan Williams….Leon "Purple" Hayze….Ronny Wonder…."Total Elimination" Eli Flair…Ronny Wonder….Sid Seven….Kid Vicious and Michael Hell of Radium Junkees….Itaki and Stanz of Partners in Krimez…."The Extreme Annihilation" Chris Douglas….Suicide King….Dean McGrath….Cyris and just returning to the EWA, Fang."

All the wrestlers are jammed in the ring. The bell rings and the action starts. The ring is filled with writhing bodies. In one corner the members of DI are pounding on Partners in Krimez. The center of the ring is jammed as Ronny wonder, Sid Seven, Daddy desire and Brett Anthony all exchange blows. The opposite corner, Radium Junkees are working over Violent Dark. The members of the IoV are battling it out with Morlock and Thompson. "Devilchild" Derek Davidson nails Eli Flair with a left. He goes to whip him into the ropes, but Flair reverses it and Davidson goes flying into Lonewolf. Both men get tangled up and go flying over the top rope to the floor.

Timothy Braddock: "Derek Davidson and Lonewolf, eliminated at 2:15"

Drifter and PDJ are double-teaming Violent Dark. Drifter nails him with kicks to the stomach. He runs back and attempts a clothesline, but VD ducks and Drifter nails PDJ. The force of the blow sends PDJ over the top rope. Drifter is standing there not believing that he did. Violent Dark comes up behind him and nail Violent Vengeance. VD scoops up Drifter's limp body and dumps him over the top rope.
