Game 1 Rescheduled - Report

Flash lose a tough one

Here's the report from Mark Nave who was there in person at UC Irvine to see the Flash play the Zodiac;

We lost 2-0. The Flash seemed like they had never played with each other before.  A lot of missed passes and really misjudged attempts to score. Within the first 10 minutes Brad Smith had been ejected from the game on a lousy call from the ref. The ref said he had a high kick when in fact he was behind the Zodiac player who body slammed him. Oh well, better luck next time.

Chile couldn't play until the second half, because he forgot his passport.  So everyone was trying to find a picture of him so he could play. At the end of half time they had found picture but you couldn't even tell it was him. But they let him play anyway.

I think the team need to work as a team.  Also, they need to work on their passes. But the longer they play, the better they will get.

It was beautiful in Irvine sunny but not too hot.  There maybe was 200 people who came to the game.  From the Thunder was Pam, Karen, Chris, Carol, Erna and myself.  It was a nice day for soccer; at least the Galaxy won and USA tied.  Well this will end my report.
