The Flash beat the New Orleans Storm in a shootout tonight in New Orleans, 4-3 being the final score! I called the Flash office to find out what happened, and didn't get too many details, but it was apparently a wild game, with a few red cards handed out. But the point is, WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now the Flash will play the first game of the best of three series against the Minnesota Thunder this Saturday, September 26th in Minnesota. Then, the Flash will play game 2 at home on Wednesday, September 30th, and game 3, if necessary, at home on Saturday, October 3rd.
The winner of this series will then face the eastern conference champion in a one game final, at a place and time to be determined. My guess is that if it's Rochester, the final will be there. But if the Flash make the final, and the eastern conference representative is not Rochester, the final will be in San Diego! (No offense, Minnesota fans, I know we still have to play you guys. Don't interpret my confidence as the team overlooking the Thunder!)
