My Game 6 Report
I tried to get the result from the A-league site, and it said the Flash won, but the description said the Sounders won! The following is the match report from the Seattle Sounders official site. It seems we really did lose, 1-0. Here's the report!

San Diego Flash vs. Seattle Sounders
Seattle, WA – The Seattle Sounders ended a four game losing streak with a 1-0 win over the visiting San Diego Flash Sunday in front of 2,373 at Memorial Stadium. Eric Storkson scored the game-winning goal in the 70th minute off an assist by Gelvezon to up the Sounders record to 3-4, and drop San Diego to 2-3.
Storkson was substituted for Fabian Davis in the 66th minute to bolster the Sounders attack, and made his presence felt immediately. Midfielder Paul Gelvezon received a ball on the far touch line, and crossed the ball as he was falling down and out of bounds to Storkson who gently volleyed it past Flash Goalkeeper Joe Cannon who was off his line, to put the Sounders up 1-0.
A very physical game, both teams fouled each other throughout, with the Sounders totaling 33 fouls in all. Flash forward Brad Smith and Sounder defender Jason Annicchero started going at it from the opening kickoff and one could tell this was going to be a game filled with fouls.
The first half was uneventful, forward Patrick Beech of Seattle was the only player from either team with any serious scoring opportunities. Beech created a number opportunities including one in the fortieth minute when Beech received a through ball from Brandon Prideaux but his hard Cannon deflected shot wide.
The teams went in tied at halftime 0-0.
The first twenty minutes of the second half, the Flash was all over the Sounders, controlling the play through the midfield while Seattle repeatedly attempted to mount an offensive attack. The Sounders finally were able to break past the Flash defense after Storkson entered the game.
Dusty Hudock kept the game close for the Sounders during the stretch, saving a number of would-be goals in the second half. San Diego’s best opportunity came when Chris Farias dribbled past three Sounders defenders in the penalty box and slotted a pass to Kevin Legg on the six-yard line, Legg however hit his shot over the crossbar.
San Diego pushed forward the last five minutes, bringing 10 men forward, even pulling its goalkeeper all the way out to the thirty-five yard-line. San Diego tried desperately in the final minutes but none of its shots found the net and Seattle held on though to knock off the Flash 1-0.
Defender Bernie James was forced to sit out the game due to a red card suspension. James will be sitting out a three game suspension and won’t see action until the Sounders travel to San Diego June 13.
All-Time/Season Series : The Sounders lead the All-Time series 2-0, Seattle leads the season series 2-0. Seattle defeated the Flash 2-0 at San Diego April 17. The two teams will next meet June 13 at San Diego.
