Well, I sat in front of my computer from 9:30 when the game should've ended until 11:15 when I finally saw the score on the A-League's official site. This is what I saw;
Vancouver 2 San Diego 3 (OT)
Antonio Robles sent a 19-yard shot into the lower right corner of the goal in the 97th minute to give the Flash a 3-2 overtime win. The 86ers stunned San Diego with a first-minute goal by Jeff Skinner, then fell behind thanks to a pair of tallies by Wes W
Well! That was a nice relief! I finally saw the score, and it was a win! And that Wes W. is Wes Wade. I'm not 100% sure, but I think this was Wes' first game he's played this season. Good for him! I'm a little surprised that they played an overtime period. I though ties went strait to a shoot-out like MLS. But I must say I'm glad they didn't, as I'm no fan of the shoot-out. Hopefully we'll see another positive result against Seattle on Sunday!
