Well, I got the result off the USISL page, and it looks like we had chances, but some bad luck finally overcame us. I understand that the Staten Island field is artifical turf, so that had to feel a lot different too. But hey, I didn't think we were going to win every game from here on out, so one loss now will allow us to go on and win a whole bunch more before we're "due" for a loss again!

The Flash ended their own five-game winning streak when a defender deflected John Ball's pass into his own net in the 58th minute. Vipers netminder Peter Pappas made 10 saves to preserve the win.
I'm looking forward to next Saturday when the Flash play Chivas of Tijuana! That should be a fun match! See you all then!
