FIRST BASE
General Rules:
1. Catch EVERY ball thrown at you.
2. Give targets from inside base toward home plate.
3. Block throws in dirt with your body.
4. Chase down overthrows and run them back into the infield.
5. Be vocal when runners are moving.
6. Any foul ball in front of you is an automatic strike and you should take every risk possible to catch the ball.
7. Be ready to back up homeplate plays...unless that is the pitchers job on your team.
8. Remember all plays and bunt coverages and always be ready to put them to use.
