There are three specific things to remember.

1. Players may only play positions for which they have a defensive rating as assigned by DMB (there is an exception but it's not pretty).

2. Each position must be covered by two position players, although one player may cover multiple positions (e.g., Chad Curtis can be the backup OF in left, center, and right).

3. Pitchers may only appear in roles for which they are rated (i.e., must have a start rating to start and a relief rating to relieve).
