Game Schedule
We have limited the roster size this season to give the players more skating time.




We are carrying a few players on the roster as extra players to be used in an emergency.
It is important that you let us know if you will be missing a game ASAP.


Game 1 - Blackhawks 5 - Stars 3.
The Blackhawks won this game in what has become a growing rivalry with Milos, who can't decide on a team name.


Game 2 - Blackhawks 10 - Other guys 0.


Game 3 - Blackhawks 10 - Other Guys 0.


Game 4 - Blackhawks 11 - Roller Dawg 1.
This was another strong showing by the offense and the defense. The highlight of the game was when Tom Cruise (Brian) scored a goal and threw kisses to the crowd. Rumor has it that his fan club was waiting outside for autographs after the game. PJ and Billy had great games on defense this week.

Some of our parents are starting to complain about the level of competition and want to move up to a 17-year-old division. That might not be a bad idea, but most of our players are 12 and 13. I think that there are a few good teams here, and we should not be so cocky. That can only be a bad thing.

Game 5 - we had to postpone this game
 We were involved in an ice hockey tournament in Pennsylvania at game time. We will let you know when this game will be made up.

Game 6 - Stars 6 - Blackhawks 4
I hear that this was an ugly game. The Stars had 8 penalties to our 2. Milos had 4 of them. Looks like he is still as dirty as he was in Brick. Most teams know they can push Jason's buttons and get him in trouble. Jason however, has learned to control his temper but it is amazing how far teams will push him. The next phase of this "war" Milos has helped to escalate will be on 4/12/99 in Jackson when they convert back to the Bruins. That is the championship game. I have one question, why do they use different names wherever they play? Thanks to all the penalties, this game did not end officailly. I am real sketcchy on what happened, but I AM ACCEPTING REVIEWS FROM ANYONE THAT WANTS TO SEND ONE TO ME.

Don't take the lack of effort or knowledge here personally. I am only the "web master" and I am away skiing on weekends. I don't know what is happening in Toms River. I did have a schedule, but I misplaced it. If you are one of the Toms River teams, I apoligize for not knowing your name.

It is a shame that it had to end like this becuase we enjoyed playing on the rink. We were planning on bringing in a second 14-U team and our 12-U team this spring.

Looks like the SORE SPORTS ARENA does not want us back. After the owner came onto the rink and challenged our players, coaches and parents to a fight in a game where we had 2 penalties to the Stars 8 penalties. After a Star ran our goalie and hit him with a stick, we made the mistake of retaliating, to protect our goalie.

This behavior has been consistenat since we joined the league. We came in and immediately dominated the leage. We beat the team that had won almost every championship since the place opened. We beat the team that was designed to beat them. We beat there regional teams. Not only did we win, but we won big, ouscoring them (in 2 and a half seasons) 224 to 45.

We put up with the Hersh kid from the Roller Dawgz following Cody around for a half hour (after a game) and taunting him only to escalate to a Hersh putting a stick across Codys chest the next time we played them. We put up with the dirty Puerto Rican comments. We put up with the E-Mail from a Panther, bragging about a hit hit put on Scotto, only to see a vicious hit put on Scotto, the next time we played. And that hit was put on him from after the Panther ran him down from 10 feet away, AFTER WE ALREADY WON THE GAME BY MERCY.

We put up with the owners son, punching Brian 3 times, and Brian is not a fighter (Don't take offense Brian). Brian skated away each time, until after the third punch, Brian realized he had to stand up for himself. We put up with Brian getting taken out violently when were were beating the Vipers 9 to 0 only to watch the skater skate over to the bench and get high fives from the coach and teammates. Then we had to deal with the racial slurs directed at Cody and Jason.

We had to put up with the Panthers watching our game from the sidelines and taunting our players. When one of our parents asked them to show some respect and be quiet, their coach immediately tried to start a fight with anyone from our team. That is except me, becuase he showed what a coward he is by backing down from me. We put up with a Panthers parent coming on our bench prior to one of our game to yell at us becuse she didn't like the way we entered the rink. I wish I could remember it all.

I'm sure that we gave them reason to be annoyed with us. In fact by our count we gave them 224 reasons.
