January 13 2000

Sorry for the lack of updates lately but the team have been working furiously with files to go in the Beta version of the FSP 2k.

I have the names of some files that will be included in the Beta version of the FSP 2k...

* A football (the ball may be different to the ball in the full version of the FSP 2k).

* 15 jerseys from Simon Shepherd all in full 64 colour glory!

* A few leagues updated (I haven't made a definite decision of which ones however!)

* Possibly a stadium or two

There should be more in the Beta version but most of those are definites.

Also I have add Casey's profile to the Team section and gave credit to a guy called Christopher (not Chris van Deuren) who offered to help with the backgrounds. Thanks Christopher.

And Simon's sent a lot of jerseys to me today so I'll have to select 15 for the Beta version.

I have been getting very confused of late. Chris Davies did NOT give Simon Shepherd permission to use those 64 colour jerseys, but a member of our own team Chris van Deuren did.

There most likely will be a Beta version of the FSP 2k to be released, which is a very good thing.

And I haven't been giving Aum Govindji as much credit as he deserves. Despite the fact that I'm doing most of the organising Aum is also the main creator of the FSP 2k.
In fact, when Aum and I were working on Aart van der Werf's patch for FIFA 99 called the uf99p it closed down because Aart was apparently to busy with his study. Aum thought that it would be a goods idea to create a patch for FIFA 2000, and that's where the FIFA Super Patch 2000 began.

Chris van Deuren hasn't sent me the new background yet so I obviously can't post a screenshot. When it comes in it won't be long until there's a picture in the screenshots section.

So that's the latest in news of the FSP 2k.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, my Internet Provider had a crash which prevented me from updating this site.

The Match Select screen will be given it's finishing touches by Chris tonight and tommorrow or the next day we should have the first FSP 2k screenshot.

And for you people that can't wait for the FSP 2k to come the could possibly be a Beta version coming :o)

Oh and if you downloaded the Fifa Xmas and liked the jerseys in it here's some good news for you, Chris has granted Simon permission to use the same jerseys for the FSP 2k, which means less work for Simon at the moment! And that cranks up the kit production rate, it saves him having to do a large majority of the Champions League jerseys.

So there's a load of news for you.

Sorry about the last two updates coming late but I've been quite busy.

The patch is coming along. Simon Shepherd's been working really hard and there's a bunch of cool 64 colour kits already made for the FSP 2k.
And because you kind people have visited our site I've uploaded a sample of Simon's work...two glorious 64 colour jerseys, an AC Milan jersey and a Manchester United jersey.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Aum is currently working on the FSP 2K football and Chris is working on the Match Select screen. Chris' profile will be uploaded tommorrow after all.

The first screenshots will come when those two items of the patch are complete.

And when Aum has finished the ball he will start on the Title screen which also looks nice.

Oh and check this out...I've asked Ricky Martin (yes, the Ricky Martin) if the patch can use his music. I know a lot of people would just go ahead and use it but we don't want to get sued!

Hello and welcome to FSP 2k Online, for the final time of this millennium.

I now have two excellent graphics editors, Aum Govindji and Chris from FIFA Xmas or The Patch Of The Day, I don't think it's Chris Davies but I'll find out tommorrow. So we don't need any more background editors but stadium editors please raise your hands by sending me an E-Mail at biggsfam@tipnet.co.nz, we need you!

Another roster editor by the name of Marcelo Schleder has joined our team and you can read about him in the Team section.

The FSP 2k team would like to wish everyone a very happy new year/millennium so have a good day!

By the way, if there's no update for the next few days it's a y2k bug problem!
