Location
This country is located on the north central part of the American Continent. Its limitis are the United Estates of America at north, The Gulf of Mexico at east, the Caribean Sea, the Republics of Guatemala and Belice on the south-east, and Pacific Ocean at west.
Extension
Mexico has a surface of: 1,958,201 km2. With 11,952.7 kilometers of seashores.
It has also 4,225 kilometers of borthers, which 3,117.90 km. are located on the north and 1,107.80 at south. The north borther estates of the country are: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas and the southern estates are: Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche and Quintana Roo.
Political Division
Mexico has 31 estates and a Federal District, with a total of 2,394 municipios(counties 1980). The mexican capital is called "Distrito Federal" and it was founded in the year 1325 by a person named Tenoch. By that time the ancient city was called Tenochtitlán.
The Federal District is divided in 16 counties or "delegaciones políticas" and its located on the Valley of México.
Organization
México is a federal, democratic republic, ruled by a written constitution.

By the year of 1996 had an estimated population of 92'711,000 people.

The oficial languague is spanish and also there are indian people who talk 66 native languagues such as:
Náhuatl; Maya; Zapoteco; Mixteco; Tzeltal; Otomí; Tzotil;
Totonaca; Mazateco; Mazahua; Chol; Huasteco; Purépecha; Tarahumara; Mixe; Tojolabal; Chinanteco; Trique; Tlalpaneco; Yaqui and Cora.
Coin and Currency
The oficial coin of this the country is the peso and it is divided by 100 cents. The exchange rate against the dolar is $ 9.50 by one(September, 1999).
Economie
Our country is one of the firsts producers of silver, flour and stronce. It has large oil and natural gas reserves and the main export products are: manufactured materials 83.7%, oil 9.3% and agricultural products.5.0%.
