Overall record: 17-35-0

Playoff record: 0-2

Toilet Bowl record: 1-2 (2001 Toilet Bowl Champions)

Thunder Bay got off on the wrong foot when owner Clint Page didn't even show up for the draft. The Commissioner had to pick for him, and at number seven Rich Gannon became the first ever member of the Thunder Bay Lightning. The season didn't start off too well, as the NHL ripoffs went 1-3, but quickly rose back to .500 before tailing off again to finish 5-8. The forfeits due to lineups not being turned in didn't help. He did, however, manage to sneak into the playoffs having beaten Nashville and Philadelphia in tiebreakers. It was a short lived experience, since he failed to turn in a lineup again, and forfeited his first playoff game to Montreal. Hopefully in 2001 Clint can put Thunder Bay on the right track.

Clint Page would probably like to forget his 2001 season. Except for maybe week six, when his Lightning won their only game. Thunder Bay's yellow-haired owner once again missed the draft, and so his brother, fellow owner Alex Page drafted for him, taking Jerome Bettis at number ten. With the Canadian air as cold as it is, the Lightning were nothing more than sparks from a toaster your little sister stuck her fork into. They finished the season on a seven game losing streak, culminating in a john appearance. The team was thoroughly trounced by both Chicago and Singapore en route to the famous toilet paper trophy. The worst team ever? Can't say...
