Jeffrey S. Eagen (Sabre/Foil), 1/26/72,

I began fencing at Ft. Myer, Va under the direction of Master Ray Smith in 1990, learning the art of the sabre.  After a two year tutelage, I started to fence around the tri-state area until finding a home at the Fairfax Fencing Club under the direction of Master Charles (Tom) Jobson.  Tom introduced me to foil and showed me techniques I use to this date to teach Junior and Senior fencers, Thanks Tom.

Since moving to Alaska in 1994 with other Virginia fencers, we've setup a Junior fencing program that has spread over the entire tri-city area (Eielson AFB, Fairbanks, North Pole).
