In a hard-fought seven game series, the Piedmont Pirahnas have defeated the Cincinnati Rabid Schottzies to win the 1999 LRSOML championship. Standouts for Piedmont include Rocket Roger Clemens and Mariano Rivera. Congratulations to manager Warren Hart.
As far as draft picks go, Sacramento will draft #1, followed by Clinton, the Buttflies, and Cary. Rosewood and the Killer Bees tied for the 5th pick, and Pinebluff and Tallahassee tied for the 7th. Gotham and Manto draft 9th and 10th, followed by the playoff teams in this order-Chapel Hill, Blowing Rock, Garner, Shotwell, Piedmont, and finally Cincinnati.
