8. Alon Stein
Alon Stein is the first playmaker of the team. He started in the team in 1995/1996 in Hapoel Galil Elyon, and soon he became a very important player in the team. He has a great shots from 3PT and he has a great ball-control. He is the big hope of the team, and of the Israeli Basketball. He plays in the National reserve team (Atuda).
Alon is a great player, and I beleive he will soon become a member of the Israeli National team. Alon needs to improve his defence and he will be one of the best Israeli players, and he already is.
Alon grew up in Even-Yehuda and he played there for the local team. In a game vs. the youth of Maccabi Tel-Aviv, he scored 40 points and he was discovered by the people of Maccabi. Alon will play in the future in Maccabi Tel-Aviv, and that's not so good for Galil. I hope he will stay in the team for many years because Galil needs him.
