Head Coach: David Blatt
As a young basketball coach, I understand something in Coaching. I coached a kids team 2 years ago, and I went to a course in Wingate Institute and passed it successfully.
To my opinion, David Blatt is The NUMBER 1 Coach in Israel today. Many will disagree this, but that's my opinion.
I want to be a coach when i'll grow up, after the army, but also I want to be the assistant of David.
David is a brillaint coach. He was the assistant of Pini Gershon in 1992/1993 when Galil Elyon won the championship. He learn many things from Pini, but he doesn't have a big mouth like Pini does.
David is like a college coach, and that's why Galil is playing like a college team. David beleive first in a good defence, and with many systems of defences. He uses many defences in one game.
David know how to teach players to play basketball. Take, for example, Pancho Hodges. The guy didn't know how to hold a basketball. David turned him to a great defenssive player, and he was the best blocker in the league.
David is now also the assistant of Moly Katzurin in the national team. I wish him good luck in the future, in the National team, and above all, to win a title with Pelephone Galil Elyon.
David, you are the best for me, you will always be.
