• Originality
  Many E-Feds let you use real wrestlers but most of them want you to use original ones. The choice is yours but there are drawbacks to choosing a real wrestler. First, most E-Feds will want you to stick to their current gimmick. If the wrestler is a face then you have to be a face. If the wrestler turns heel then you have to turn heel. This is not the case in all E-Feds but most of them at least want you to sound like the real wrestler. An E-Fed with ten Undertakers and a Stone Cold Alex Austin won't be much fun. I suggest that if you have the option, go with original. That makes it a lot more fun in the long run.

  One thing that I don't recommend is that you make cheap rip-offs of real wrestlers. Like I said earlier, the only thing you will get from a Stone Cold Alex Austin is being called a want-a-bee. If you're going to copy a real wrestler the at least admitt to it. I prefer original wrestlers but if you choose to go with an existing wrestler than please do a good job of playing their part.

  E-Wrestling is an escape from reality as are all Fantasy RPG games(although they say that E-Wrestling borders on obsession for most). The choice between real and original is yours but just make sure you choose one that you will have fun with.

• Be Realistic
  Lets face it, 500 pound giants don't do 450 flips and Rey Mysterio Jr. won't gorilla press Yokozuna. If your character isn't believable he won't be successful. When you create your character make sure you keep how big and what style he is in mind. His finisher should also be humanly possible. No real person can flip thirty feet in the air and land an elbow drop on an opponent!

• Personality
  Before you do anything else get a mental picture of what your wrestler will be like. Think of what he will look like and most importantly what he will act like. The rest of creating a wrestler will be easier if you already have the personality in your mind.

  Whatever you do, make a wrestler that you can write RPs for. If you make a russian olympic champion that can't speak English, make sure they have a manager or valet that can do the talking for them.

• Heel, Face, or Neutral
  The most important part of making a good wrestler is deciding what his alignment will be. This will determine what kind of intervues he has and how he wrestles his matches. Once you have decided on an alignment be consistent. Don't have your wrestler sneak attacking faces and then acting like the greatest guy in the world the next day(unless that's his gimmick like Chris Jericho).

• Wrestling Style
  Wrestling style is basically how he wrestles in each match. For example, Sabu is a Suicidal wrestler, Rey Mysterio Junior is a Luchador, Bret Hart is a Technical Wrestler, and Hulk Hogan is(was) a Powerhouse Brawler. Your wrestler's finisher should also be the same style as your wrestler. A powerhouse would use a powerbomb not a corkscrew plancha.

• Your Wrestler's Size
  A lot of E-Fed have seperate divisions for Heavyweights and Cruiserweights. In the real world size matters in wrestling but it doesn't matter as much in fantasy. The one thing that is almost a sin for E-Wrestling is making mega-giants. Be realistic, there are no 7'7 800 pound monsters out there that can get anywhere near a wrestling ring let alone stand under their own power! If a prez does accept a mega-giant they are usually jobbed out because of their sheer annoyance. Most feds set the limit at about 7'4 500 pounds because that's about the real life limit. You can count the number of wrestlers that have even been that big on one hand so there won't be an entire promotion full of them until genetically engineering humans becomes legal.

• Managers and Valets
  In E-Wrestling you are your own manager but having someone come to the ring with you is a definite advantage. They are very useful in filling space in an intervue and can help out during a match. For years Ric Flair wouldn't be seen coming down to the ring without a female escort. She would add to his entrance and also supply a distraction during the match. Managers can also act as the main speakers in an intervue, for years Paul Bearer would do all the talking for the Undertaker.

• Background/Bio
  Your wrestler has to have a background. This will usually include what he did before he came to the current E-Fed, other E-Feds he has wrestled in, and his personality. Many idea's for intervues come from a wrestlers background. Just about anything can be used in his background but again, be realistic! When you first come to an E-Fed don't go around telling everyone how you've won every title in every league you've been in because that will usually annoy the wrestlers and cause the prez to job you out for pure spite.
