My mother and I played in every city we visited. We played in Lunenburg the first time. We actually got halfway good at it at the end of two weeks. =) I agree with you 100% about it be ng MUCH harder than "fatpin" bowling. The first time was VERY funny though...I think I scored 5 for the whole game the first time. I had to take all the strategies I had for the US version of the game and throw it out the window. I loved the game and continued to bowl as often as I could. Last year at the I.C.B.A. Junior Classic in Portsmouth,N.H.I completed my junior bowlng career by winning the girls division 4 all events, doubles,and $250.00 scholarship. What is the Junior girls 5 string record in Nova Scotia? I hold the official Maine girls junior record with 647. The official Maine boys junior record is 728 by Craig Chapman of uburn Lanes! Candlepin bowling kept me in school because in order to bowl in the Junior tournaments I had to be enrolled in high school. This year I'm enrolled at Beals College in Bangor.
