Task
Your team was chosen to travel back in
time to warn the young Pharaoh Tutankhamen of his sudden death. According
to archaeologists who've studied King Tut's mummy, they discovered that
he had been struck with a blunt object to the back of the head. The circumstances
around his death are still a mystery. Every member of your team will assume
a role in ancient Egyptian society. You will learn about daily life, your
job, heiroglyphics, the law, and mummification. All of this will aid you
in your quest to figure out how King Tut died and to get him a message
in time.

The members of your team will first have to
draw numbers (lottery) to determine the roles you all will assume in Egyptian
society. You will then research your particular role and Egyptian law (more
information below).

The members of your team will research the
mummification process and design your own sarcophacus

The members of your team will research heiroglyphics
on the Internet. Each member will then write a message in heiroglyphics
and your own writing system. This message will be sent to King Tut. Hopefully
in time.

The members of your team will learn about
Tutankhamen and his life. You will use the internet and watch a video to
find out how Tutankhamen was kill. More importantly, you will try to figure
who killed him, if anyone.
