I remember Grand Pa Corwin, his house and waking up in the morning when I would stay there, hearing the red head wood peckers. I remember the panisy that Grand Ma Corwin planted, and chasing one of their dogs round and round a tree. I also remember Grand Pa telling me stories that he made up. The smell of bleach in the house, and the small chicken coop out back.
WWI registration card # 25-2-15-A dated june 5, 1917, shows he was in Montana when he registered, working on a ranch at Martindale MT, was single and had blue eyes and light hair, was tall and slender.
Grand Ma Corwin was married at the age of 15, her parents knew the parents of her husband (rumored that it was an arranged marriage). She came over to the USA before the marriage, from Hungry/Austria
(as the bordors were changing). When she divorced her first husband, her son Richard was sent to Florida to a Boarding school. That husband later went to California and had 3 or 4 sons there.
