Match 1

"Five Star" Mike Marvelous
=>vs<=
Jake Rockwell
=>vs<=
Vic Payback
=>vs<=
Apocalypse

We were once again in the friendly environs of Davis Memorial Palace for the all-out battle that is WarStorm!!! The first of the preliminary War matches pitted rookie “Five Star” Mike Marvelous, returning veteran Jake Rockwell, Vic Payback, and Apocalypse against each other in a high-skill, high-energy contest! Everyone involved showed lots of talent, but it was clearly Jake Rockwell who made his presence felt!! The Rock jumped right back into action, using lots of submission holds and power moves to keep everyone on the defensive!! The first fall, for the most part, was The Jake Rockwell show as The Rock worked over all three opponents at full throttle, pushing himself to the limit, . . . and maybe even beyond!!!
-Jake Rockwell pins Mike Marvelous with a German suplex-
-Jake Rockwell makes Vic Payback submit to The Full Nelson-
-Apocalypse pins Jake Rockwell with a small package-

Match 2

The Boog-man
=>vs<=
Prodigal Son
=>vs<=
”The Stalker” Jack McGriff
=>vs<=
Adam Adonis

Next up were The Boog-man, Prodigal Son, “The Stalker” Jack McGriff, and Adam Adonis locking up in another spirited contest! Prodigal Son turned in a fair performance for the short time that he was involved, while The Boog-man drew a bead on Adonis and McGriff, working over both with flying forearms and belly-to-belly suplexes!! The Heartbreaker had his crosshairs squarely on Jack McGriff and all of the injuries he sustained while wrestling Diablo!! Still, The Stalker was able to stay in the fight, turning Adonis and Boog’s attacks away with neckbreakers and DDTs!! What quickly became a three-man match was one full of strategy and skill, with all three men fighting to the finish!!!
-Adam Adonis pins Prodigal Son with The Broken Heart-
-Jack McGriff pins The Boog-man with a double brainbuster-
-Jack McGriff makes Adam Adonis submit to a Boston crab-

Match 3

Matrix
=>vs<=
Tony Bravo
=>vs<=
Jonathan Steel
=>vs<=
”Wolverine” Chad Wilson

Match 3 represented the younger legs in RCW as rookie “Wolverine” Chad Wilson, faced second-seasoner RCW U.S. Champion “The People’s Choice” Tony Bravo, and two-season vets Matrix and Jonathan Steel! This was easily the closest match of the night as all four young lions wrestled with utter abandon!! Chad Wilson combined power moves and technical know-how to stay in the fight, while Matrix made use of his deep arsenal of submissin holds!! Jonathan Steel continued to display his growing mastery of the fundamentals as Tony Bravo worked mostly a brawling and power move offense (with the occasional eye gouge tossed in for color)!! All four men wrestled their hearts out, but in the end only one man could advance to The Storm!!!
-Tony Bravo pins Chad Wilson with a reverse cradle-
-Jonathan Steel pins Tony Bravo with The Reality Check-
-Matrix makes Jonathan Steel submit to The Inner Sanctum-

Match 4

”Spectacular” Shawn Sanders
=>vs<=
The Executive
=>vs<=
Bro. Juan Vasquez
=>vs<=
Armageddon

With Match 4, we went from the most fiercely contested match of the night to the most one-sided contest of the night as rookies “Spectacular” Shawn Sanders and Brother Juan Vasquez faced veterans Armageddon and The Executive! The match opened fairly well with all three men ganging up on The Executive, and doing a fair job of keep The CEO down!! However, before long The Executive had turned the tide of the match away from himself, and soon after, it was lights out for three of the four competitors as we decided the fourth and final Storm competitor!!!
-Bro. Juan Vasquez pins Armageddon with a superplex-
-The Executive makes Shawn Sanders submit to The Hostile Takeover-
-The Executive makes Bro. Juan Vasquez submit to an inverted STF-

=>vs<=
RCW Cruiserweight Champion
Raven Midknight
Fr: Bucharest, Romania
Ht: 6’2”

Our next match featured “Sensational” Johnny Lee stepping in to face RCW Cruiserweight Champion Raven Midknight in what promised to be an aerial spectacular, and from the opening bell, it didn’t disappoint!! After a handshake, Johnny Lee struck Midknight with a spinning heel kick, then came off the ropes with a flying leg lariat!! The Sensational One then connected with a springboard back elbow before locking on an anklelock!! The Darkbird was in bad shape for a moment, but was able to work his way up to his feet, then he nailed Lee in the face with a reverse enzuguiri!! Midknight then took Johnny Lee over with a snap suplex, following with a fistdrop from the middle rope, covering and getting the two-count!! Midknight pulled Lee to his feet and brought him down with a big rana, then connected with a springboard moonsault bodypress, pinning again for the one, two, and throwing his arm up, Lee broke the count!! Once again, Raven Midknight took to the air, coming off of the top turnbuckle with a somersault flying clothesline!! But Johnny Lee drilled the champion square in the face with a dropkick, making the cover and grabbing the one, the two, and the count was broken at the last second as Midknight kicked free!! Lee pulled The Darkbird up and whipped him into the ropes, doubling the champion over with a knee to the gut, then coming off the ropes with a somersault axe kick!! The Sensational One climbed to the top rope as Midknight staggered to his feet!! Johnny Lee stood on the turnbukle and had his feet pulled off of the ropes by El Bandito!! Lee fell groin-first onto the top turnbuckle as the ref ordered The Mexican marauder and Niki Weathers back to the locker room area!! Meanwhile, Midknight regained his composure and spiked Lee with a huracanrana from the top rope, making the cover and getting the one, two, and three!!!

RCW North American Champion
Nick Fury

Fr: Queens, NY
Ht: 6’8”
Wt: 275

Next up, Blue Phoenix challenged RCW North American Champion Nick Fury for the title in a battle of two of the federations most talented (and sharp-witted) characters!! Things got underway with Phoenix talking a bit of smack to the champion, with Fury responding in kind!! Finally, Fury took The Firedird down with a drop toehold, then locked on a series of submission holds, keeping Blue Phoenix on the mat and under control!! But true to his nature, The Firebird would not stay down, fighting his way out of a rear chinlock with a series of elbows, then putting Fury on the mat with a kangaroo kick!! As The Legal Eagle regained his feet, Blue Phoenix ran into the ropes and came off with a corkscrew bodypress, putting Fury right back down!! The challenger then connected with a somersault senton before climbing the ropes as Fury got back up!! As The Legal Eagle stood, Phoenix took flight, grabbing the champion in a headlock and going for a flying bulldog, but Fury countered with a vicious atomic drop, following with a German suplex!! The champion threw it into fifth gear, nailing Blue Phoenix with all kinds of shoulderbreakers and Samoan drops before finally delivering The Absolute Power, and pinnign for the one, two, and three!!!

The Storm

Apocalypse
=>vs<=
”The Stalker” Jack McGriff
=>vs<=
Matrix
=>vs<=
The Executive

Next up, the four winners of the War ---Apocalypse, Jack McGriff, Matrix, and The Executive--- stepped in to see who would make it out of The Storm and stand as the sole WarStorm Survivor!! The action began with Apocalypse and Jack McGriff, but there were lots of tags and some odd double-teaming going on, all of which made for a very exciting first fall!! In the end, it was Apocalypse keeping Matrix on the mat with a combination of submission holds and a few elbowdrops!! The Visionary had things in hand, setting Matrix for a DDT, but The Revolution countered the move with a textbook Northern Lights suplex, bridging fro the three-count and eliminating Apocalypse!!!
-Matrix pins Apocalypse with a Northern Lights suplex-

In the second fall, Matrix went eyeball-to-eyeball with The Boss himself, The Executive!! This touched off a technical battle that would put every Olympic wrestler to shame; The Revolution and The CEO traded lots of takedowns and reversals with neither man really gaining the advantage!! Finally, Matrix tagged in Jack McGriff who had his sights set on The Executive!! But before he could reach The CEO, McGriff was blind-sided by a Matrix axhandle, then The Exec chimed in with a kneedrop!! The Stalker was on the business end (npi,… we think) of a Corporate beatdown as Matrix and The Executive stomped McGriff until the ref physically dragged Matrix to the corner!! The Executive then worked over The Stalker with lots of camel clutches and figure-four headlocks, then crushed him with a string of belly-to-belly suplexes and backbreakers!! The CEO then tagged in Matrix to finish McGriff off, but was unpleasantly surprised when he saw that his protégé was having his fair share of trouble with The Stalker!! McGriff fought off every one of The Revolution’s attacks, answering with gutbusters and torture racks!! Matrix has been impressive, but The Stalker proved that he still has some learning to do, battering him to the mat, then delivering The Assault, pinning for the three-count!!!
-Jack McGriff pins Matrix with The Assault-

In the third and final fall, The Executive simply swooped in and picked off what was left of McGriff after several long bouts, not even counting the damage he sustained from his match with Diablo!! The Stalker put up a hell of a fight, getting in a few good brainbusters and windmill backbreakers among other things, but for the most part The Executive was too fresh; The CEO worked a submissin intensive offense, putting added pressure on Jack McGriff’s several already-damaged areas with Boston crabs and dragon sleepers!! Through it all though, McGriff refused to give in, even countering an octopus hold with a hip toss, then connecting with a legdrop!! The Stalker whipped The CEO into the ropes, going for an axhandle!! But The Executive cut him off with a boot to the gut, then spiked McGriff with a piledriver, making the pin, gaining the one, two, three, and winning WarStorm!!!

RCW WORLD CHAMPION
Night Train James
Fr: Atlanta, GA
Ht: 6’6”

After a long night of top-notch action, it was finally time for the main event: The Invader of The Syndicate faced RCW World Champion Night Train James!! It wasn’t long ago that these two took each other to task in a Strap Match, and the contempt was just as fresh in this match; Night Train climbed through the ropes, dropped the belt, and went straight after The Invader with axhandles and knees to the gut!! But The Conqueror came right back with a series of right hooks, followed by a hip toss, taking The Train to the mat!! From there, The Invader locked in one submission hold after another, keeping the champion on the defensive with top wristlocks and stepover toeholds!! But Night Train stayed in it, dragging himself to the ropes and forcing the break every time!! The Conqueror decided to switch tactics and use a few poer moves, which proved to be an unwise move; Night Train was soon countering every vertical suplex and atomic drop that The Invader threw at him!! Before long, Night Train James was the one mixing up submission holds and power moves, and keeping The Invader on the mat!! The Train whipped the challenger into the turnbuckle hard enough to make The Invader stagger out of the corner and into a vicious clothesline!! Night Train thenlifted The Invader over his shoulder, got a running start and delivered The Midnight Express, pinning for the one, two, and through the ropes came Blue Phoenix, bashing The Train in the back of the head with a crowbar!!! The ref called for the bell as The Firebird whacked away at the champion, then The Invader joined in!! Just then, Jack McGriff came out to even the odds!! All four men were brawling in the ring when Vic Payback and Tony Bravo came down to the ring!! The Syndicate enjoyed a four-on-two advantage for while before Nick Fury and Jonathan Steel came down and made things even again!!! There was an eight-man melee going on in the ring, fitting for the night of war that had just occurred, as our cameras faded to black!!!
