1995-96 - - In 1995, Josh wrestled 103. He wrestled Varsity that year and had a record of 1-12. He had 2-TD and 6-RV. He also wrestled JV to gain some experience. His record was 9-3. He had 8 falls and placed in every JV tournament he went to. ( Hillcrest-second, Monett-first, Ozark-third and Lebanon-third). He had 14-TD, 9-N, 4-RV, and 2-E. He had a tough time at districts. The two contenders he wrestled went on to place at state.
1996-97 - - This year he gained weight,(thirty pounds)and did much better . His Varsity record was 7-16. He had 8-TD, 11-RV, 8-E, 4-N, and 5-F. He also wrestled JV and his record was 3-2. That year he only wrestled the Branson JV tournament. He placed 3rd, and it was the toughest JV tournament he had ever wrestled. He was one win short of going to sectionals.
1997-98 - -His Junior year he wrestled 135. His Varsity record was 10-19. He had a personal record of 23-TD. During this year he finally placed in a Varsity tournament...which was in Ozark. Districts really didn't go his way. He won one and lost two.
