Game 2: vs. Vikings

09/13/98

By the Post-Dispatch Staff

Quarterbacks (D)
You won't win many games with 4 INTs.

Offensive line (B)
A surprisingly good job of pass blocking (2 sacks allowed).

Running backs (B)
Greg Hill can be a difference maker, especially on artificial turf.

Receivers (A-)
Vikings trio of WRs (12 catches, 162 yds.); Rev. Ike (11 for 192).

Defensive line (B-)
Good pass rush, but must take some blame for Vikes' 194 yards rushing.

Linebackers (C)
Little got crushed by 2 blockers on Smith's 74-yard TD run.

Secondary (C+)
Kept the lid on Minnesota wide receivers for the most part.

Special Teams: (B)
Tuten struggled, but any day with a return for a TD is a good day.

Coaching (D)
When Hill tired late, Holcombe was in street clothes.
