VINNIE: That's for sure. Folks, we're now preparing for tonight's Main Event! NCW Champion, Chris Freytag will defend the World Championship against his rival Extremely Sonic in a Ladder Match.
TOMMY: They're bringing out the Ladder right now. The World Heavyweight Championship belt has been suspended high above the ring on a cable. This is a very important match. Both men had better hope that after tonight, they can make it to Sunday's Unforgiven. Ladder Matches are extremely dangerous.
VINNIE: Chris will make it, hopefully ES won't.
TOMMY: Try to maintain a professional level Vinnie, it's what your best at.
"No Regrets" by Vibrolush begins blaring through the speakers. A couple of seconds pass by and Extremely Sonic steps out through the entrance way in which the crowd begins booing at him. He stops at the top of the incline and looks out into the booing fans in the arena. He starts walking down the incline towards the ring as the camera starts panning the crowd for ES signs. A "Sonic IS the champ" sign is shown for a couple of seconds before switching over to a "Sonicboom will cripple the Assassin" sign. Both signs aren't thought of much by the fans as the booing gets a lot louder as the camera pans over to an "Extremely Assassinate Sonic PLEASE!" sign. The camera switches back towards ringside where ES is walking up the steel steps. ES steps off of the top step and onto the ring apron. ES then grabs the top rope and part of the turnbuckle and hops over the top rope. ES pulls himself over and lands on the second turnbuckle and looks out into the crowd. ES closes his eyes as as few empty cups come flying from the crowd and land in the ring or short and on the outside of the ring. ES leans back a little bit and gives a crotch chop to the crowd. A "Sonic Sh--" chant begins and ES opens his eyes and looks out into the crowd. ES hops off the turnbuckle and does a 180 in the air to turn around. ES strides over towards the opposite corner as "What If" by Creed begins to play and the crowd screams excitedly. Chris Freytag steps out from behind the curtains, sporting the new foam NCW Heavyweight Championship belt toy around his waste with Aarika by his side. The lights dim over the arena all except in the entrance tunnel where lights glow on the Assassin. Freytag turns towards Aarika and says something to her. She turns to look out into the ring where ES is looking back at them. Aarika says something back and she turns around and walks back towards the entrance way. Freytag starts walking down the incline as Aarika disappears behind the curtain. Freytag walks a little ways and stops right in front of the ladder that is set up in the middle of the incline. The fans begin cheering madly for the Assassin as he begins to slowly climb up the ladder. ES looks up at the real NCW Heavyweight title hanging just a little ways above his head before turning back to look at Freytag climbing the ladder. The fans start cheering even louder and start a "N-C-W" chant. Extremely Sonic steps through the ropes nearest the incline as Freytag stops climbing at the top of the ladder. Freytag removes the phony title from around his waist and holds it in his hand. Freytag looks down at the title and then raises his arms into the air. The cheers are at a deafening level as ES leaps off the ring apron and races up the incline. Freytag lowers his arms and tosses the phony title into the crowd. Freytag leaps off of the top of the ladder as fans near the flung title jump and try to grab it. Freytag nails ES with a flying cross-body a quarter of the way up the incline from ringside and a loud cheer is let fly from the crowd. ES lays motionless as Chris Freytag rolls away from ES and staggers back to his feet. Freytag removes his black leather jacket and tosses it towards the ring, landing just short of it. Freytag walks over towards the fans by Extremely Sonic and slaps hands with them while looking down at Sonic as the bell rings to start the match. Freytag begins laying the boots to Sonic while the fans continue to grab at Freytag. Security steps in and gets the fans settled down. Freytag reaches down and pulls ES to his feet. Freytag goes to whip ES towards the ring, but ES counters and turns around to whip Freytag at the ladder. Freytag hits the ladder and stumbles a bit before he pushes the ladder over. The ladder falls onto the incline and Freytag lands on it. The ladder bounces an inch or two into the air before settling back down on the ground. Freytag rolls off of the ladder and holds his chest in pain a little bit. ES walks over to Freytag and pulls him to his feet. ES puts Freytag into a headlock and walks with him down the incline. They get to the base of the incline and Freytag starts laying in elbows to Sonic's stomach. ES breaks the headlock, but Freytag grabs ES and hits him with a high-angle suplex on the bottom of the incline. ES lays on the ground as Freytag pulls himself back onto his feet. The crowd is cheering as they approve of the match thus far. Freytag reaches down and grabs Sonic's hair. Freytag pulls Sonic to his feet and walks with him to the ring. Freytag rolls Sonic into the ring, and then slides into the ring himself. Freytag pushes himself to his feet as Sonic begins slowly crawling away from Freytag. ES crawls towards the opposite corner from Freytag. Freytag runs up from behind and dropkicks ES in his butt sending ES's head crashing into the bottom turnbuckle pretty quickly. ES reels back and holds his face in agony. Freytag gets back up to his feet as ES rolls over and slides into the corner, head resting on the bottom turnbuckle. Freytag rushes over and jumps into the corner hitting Sonic with a Bronco Buster. Freytag bounces around for awhile before stopping and stepping out of the move. Freytag looks at the opposite corner and begins walking towards it as ES grabs the ropes above him and pulls himself up to his feet. ES charges towards Freytag with a mean look on his face. Freytag turns around and ES levels the "Assassin" with a Jumping Spinning Heel Kick. Freytag falls back into the corner as ES gets back and looks right into the eyes of a dazed Assassin. Sonic kicks Freytag in the chest three times, and a spin kick to the head for a 4 Kick Spin Combo. Freytag drops to the mat now resting his head on the bottom turnbuckle. ES reaches down and pulls Freytag up to his feet. ES backs out of the corner a few feet and scoops Freytag up. Sonic hits Freytag with a piledriver. Freytag's head bounces off the mat and his body rolls away a couple feet. Freytag lays in the middle of the ring as Sonic looks out towards the incline. ES rolls over onto the ring apron and climbs off, down onto the mats at ringside. ES begins walking up the incline looking at the ladder. Freytag begins to stir as Sonic reaches the ladder and bends over to grab it. Sonic grabs an end of the ladder and begins dragging it towards ringside, his back facing the ring. Freytag gets to his feet as ES reaches ringside. Freytag whips himself into the opposite ropes from Sonic. Freytag bounces off of the ropes and runs over as Extremely Sonic lets go of the ladder, setting it facing ring to incline. Freytag gets near the ropes and jumps over the top rope. Freytag does a Front Flip in the air and comes down towards ES. Freytag quickly grabs ES and hits him with a Diamond Cutter onto the ladder while Freytag is still flying. They both crash into the ladder, Freytag taking the bigger blow. Freytag rolls off of the ladder and rolls onto his stomach holding his back in pain as ES lays face first on the ladder. A "Holy sh--!" chant begins in the crowd after seeing what Freytag just did.
VINNIE: Oh my god! Freytag leaped over the top rope, did a front flip in the air, hooked up with Sonic, and delivered a Diamond Cutter onto the ladder!
TOMMY: Wow! That is all I have to say about that. If the match continues like this, I think it will redefine singles ladder matches.
VINNIE: Yeah. And my man Freytag is taking it to the challenger, that little ass Sonic.
TOMMY: Both of these men are not getting up, we may need to call the match.
VINNIE: NO! This match is not gonna end! Freytag is going to beat Sonic Sh-- once and for all. And Sonic won't be able to whine anymore that he lost a match or won a match via DQ.
TOMMY: Well Sonic has stated that he has never had a clean loss in his entire career, this is the match to make it his first clean loss ever.
VINNIE: No! Sonic's getting up. Get up Freytag!
ES staggers up to his feet and his holding his upper chest area and face in pain. ES stumbles around, walking away from Assassin and towards the steel steps. Freytag rolls over onto his side and clinches his face. ES turns the corner and walks towards the Spanish commentating booth trying to walk off the pain. Freytag begins to push himself up to his feet as a "Come-on Assass-in" chant starts in the crowd. ES reaches the corner and turns to his right and starts walking. Vinnie looks at ES and ES looks at him and reaches at him, throwing the headset off of Vinnie. ES walks a little bit more and reaches into the corner for something. ES pulls back and exposes a steel chair to the crowd. The chanting stops as a large amount of jeering comes from the fans. Freytag suddenly takes off running towards ES. ES reels back and swings the chair at Freytag, but Chris slides through Sonic's legs and gets back up to his feet. Freytag grabs the back of Sonic and hits him with a german suplex but doesn't let go. The chair in Sonic's hands fly off as Freytag rolls around a little bit and gives Sonic another german suplex but doesn't let go once again. Freytag gives Extremely Sonic, yet again, another german suplex and lets go this time. ES bounces away and rolls over to right beside the chair he was holding only moments ago. Freytag gets back up to his feet and walks over towards Sonic. Freytag turns the corner and walks over to the ladder. The "Assassin" reaches down and grabs the sides of the ladder. Freytag pulls it up and turns to face Sonic. Freytag walks over and steps over Sonic, turning the corner. Freytag walks to about half the length of the ring and stops. Freytag pulls the ladder up and sets one end on the ring apron and the other end on the guard rail as ES climbs to his feet and picks up the steel chair. Freytag checks out the ladder to balance it off and lets go and steps away. Freytag turns around to get drilled in the skull by a chair shot from Extremely Sonic. Freytag drops to the mat and is motionless. ES drops the chair on the floor and looks down at Freytag, then turns and looks at the ladder. ES looks back at Freytag and reaches down to grab Freytag's hair. ES grabs Freytag and helps him up to his feet. ES scoops up Chris Freytag and carefully positions him on the ladder. ES turns around and reaches down to pick up the chair again. ES spins back around and raises the chair high above his head. ES slams it down hard, but Freytag rolls off of the ladder. The chair smacks the ladder and bounces out of Sonic's hands. Freytag is on the opposite side of the ladder from ES. Freytag crawls under the ladder towards Sonic. Freytag gets in front of Sonic and starts to get up. Freytag grabs the thighs of Sonic and hoists him up into the air. Freytag takes a step or two and falls backwards. Freytag hits the mat as ES's face slams hard into the ladder. The crowd lets out a loud 'Oooooh' from that painful move. Freytag climbs back to his feet and climbs onto the ring apron. Freytag walks on the ring apron to the opposite side of ES. ES starts to stagger back to his feet and leans on the ladder trying to catch his breath. ES's head hangs over the side of the ladder that Freytag is on. The "Assassin" climbs to the top turnbuckle and looks down at the ladder and ES. Freytag takes his right hand and reaches it out, forming a gun. Freytag 'fires his gun' at ES signaling for the Assassinator. Freytag flies off of the top turnbuckle and executes an Assassinator onto Extremely Sonic. Sonic falls backwards off of the ladder and is clutching his throat. Freytag sits on the mat as the crowd is cheering in approval of the beating that Chris Freytag is giving to Extremely Sonic.
TOMMY: Freytag is killing Sonic!
VINNIE: No, the Assassin is assassinating Extremely Sonic! And this match is great!
TOMMY: This is a career shortening match right here. Neither of these two are gonna be able to go to Unforgiven this sunday to face each other again, and Sonic's brother Dorito!
VINNIE: Who cares, if Freytag wins, he won't be able to defend it at the pay-per view. Boohoohoo, so there's no world title match...just as long as that little piece of crap doesn't become champion.
TOMMY: Sounds like you're trying to cuss on air Vin. This isn't like you.
VINNIE: Well Sonic destroyed my car! I had to sell my car these past few days and buy a new one.
TOMMY: Well Freytag is up and pushing the ladder into the ring.
VINNIE: Yeah, and Sonic is still in dying on the outside of the ring. DIE YOU!
TOMMY: Settle down Vin.
Freytag is in the ring and setting the ladder up in the air. Freytag is straightening out the ladder and pulling it apart to get it balanced. Freytag gets it balanced and Extremely Sonic begins to stir on the outside of the ring. Freytag begins to slowly climb up the ladder, trying to keep the ladder from teetering off balance from the unstable ring. ES pulls himself to his feet and throws his arms onto the ring apron. Freytag is about half way up the ladder when ES slides into the ring and stumbles to his feet. ES staggers over to the other side of the ladder that Freytag is on and starts climbing up. Sonic scurries up the ladder to meet Freytag near the top of the ladder. Freytag punches Sonic. Freytag blocks the next punch and fires back. Freytag tries punching Sonic again, but Sonic blocks it and fires back again. Sonic climbs up another step and reaches across over to Freytag. Sonic grabs Freytag and both men come off the ladder with Extremely Sonic hitting Chris Freytag with a BreakWave. They bounce off the mat as the ladder teeters and falls onto the ropes opposite of where Freytag and ES are. ES and Freytag lay motionless on the mat as the ladder leans on the top rope, still open.
TOMMY: OH MY! What a move!
VINNIE: NO! How can Sonic be doing what he's doing? How can he be coming back? The Assassin assassinated him, threw him face first into the ladder, hit him with a flying cross body off the top of the ladder, a magnificent flip in the air into a Diamond Cutter onto the ladder, and whatever else has happened. How is Sonic coming back?!
TOMMY: Well Sonic said he puts the 'Extreme' into 'Extremely Sonic'. Just imagine what he'd be doing if there was a Hardcore title here in NCW.
VINNIE: Well that is being questioned, and you fans can go vote if there should be a Hardcore title introduced into Northern Championship Wrestling by visiting our website, NCW.com.
TOMMY: Nice plug for the site Vinnie. And both men are starting to stir in the ring.
Both men crawl into opposite corners of the ring from each other. Chris Freytag crawls over towards the ladder and crawls underneath it and rests his head and shoulders on the bottom rope. Sonic climbs into a ring corner and pulls himself up to his feet. Sonic sees Freytag and immediately runs over in an attempt for a Bronco Buster, but Freytag grabs the sides of the ladder and closes the ladder. ES hits the ladder for a bronco buster and falls down to the mat and sits there looking down, while holding his groin in pain. Freytag looks up and reaches up for the top rope. Freytag grabs it and pulls himself back to his feet. Freytag lets go of the rope and looks down at ES. Freytag reaches down and picks up the folded up ladder and sets it down on ES, putting his head through the railing in the middle of the ladder. Freytag walks over to the ropes and hops through the bottom and middle rope and lands on the outside of the ring. Freytag grabs the chair ES was using earlier and slides it into the ring. Freytag slides into the ring himself and pushes himself back to his feet. The "Assassin" grabs the chair and holds it up for the crowd to see. They let out a huge cheer as Freytag walks over to behind ES. Freytag winds up and slams the chair against the back end of the ladder. ES wakes up and falls to his side in agony holding his neck. ES pushes the ladder off from around his neck. Freytag drops the chair and reaches down to pick up the ladder. Freytag picks it up and positions it in the middle of the ring. Chris Freytag then assists ES by rolling him onto the ladder. Sonic is face down with his back exposed tot he air. Freytag strolls over to a ring corner and climbs onto the second turnbuckle. Freytag looks down at ES and leaps off. ES looks back and quickly rolls out of the way of Freytag's elbow drop from the second turnbuckle. ES aggressively gets to his feet and looks down to see Freytag holding his elbow. ES walks over to the ropes and drops to the mat. ES rolls to the outside of the ring and throws the curtain on the side of the ring up. ES reaches in and starts pulling out a table. ES picks the table up and sets it on the ring apron and slides it into the ring. ES throws the curtain back down and slides into the ring. ES picks the table up on it's side and pulls the legs out. ES sets the table up and sets it down opposite angle of the ladder to form an 'X' in the middle of the ring. Sonic pulls Freytag to his feet and walks over to the side of the ladder, leg on each side of the ladder. Sonic tucks Freytag's head between his thighs and hooks his arms. Sonic annihilates Freytag by hitting him with a Shark Attack through the table and onto the folded up ladder.
TOMMY: Oh my GOD!
VINNIE: No! How is he doing this?!
TOMMY: Well you saw him get up in quite a bit of pain, I think he's only fighting the pain and running on pure adrenalin.
VINNIE: This can't go on any longer. Sonic is gonna kill Freytag. We have to call the match. Screw Sonic, end the match now in disqualification!
TOMMY: We can't end it, there is no disqualification! This match is not going to end until we have a champion.
VINNIE: We already have a champion, his name is Chris Freytag!
TOMMY: Well I don't think Sonic is gonna have much fun with little Sonic after that blotched Bronco Buster.
VINNIE: Groin hitting steel fast, that's gotta break something!
TOMMY: And Sonic is throwing Freytag off of the ladder and setting it back up in the air. All someone has to do is climb up the ladder and grab that title. Sonic is climbing, and there's Dorito at the top of the entrance way!
VINNIE: Now it's really the preview for this sunday!
Dorito soars down the incline towards the ring. Extremely Sonic is about half way up the ladder and Freytag is still laid out in pain in the ring. Dorito reaches ringside and dives into the ring. Dorito quickly gets to his feet and walks over to the ladder. Dorito scurries up the ladder. Extremely Sonic and Dorito meet at the top of the ladder and begin exchanging blows. Dorito pokes ES in the eye and ES grabs his eyes. Dorito quickly hooks up with ES and kicks his feet out and falls to the mat hitting the Nacho Buster on ES. The ladder begins to teeter back and forth, but soon settles down and remains standing up. J2K runs out through the top of the entrance way and runs towards the ring. ES rolls onto his back and looks up towards the lights. J2K reaches ringside and slides into the ring. Dorito struggles back to his feet and gets the Dropzone from J2K for costing Extremely Sonic the Heavyweight title. J2K rolls to the outside of the ring and gets into a camera man's face. His comments get picked up by the camera.
J2K: Dorito, you just cost someone who should be Heavyweight champion like Sonic the match, and this SNME it will be me vs you for my Intercontinental title, if you're up to it!
J2K turns away and looks back into the ring. J2K reaches in and grabs Dorito's arm and pulls him to the outside of the ring. J2K drops Dorito on the ground and walks up the incline. The camera cuts back to the action in the ring. Freytag is starting to stir in the ring as ES is still motionless. The crowd starts chanting "A-ssass-in" to cheer on Chris Freytag. The chant has to be getting Freytag's adrenalin pumping because Chris Freytag is pulling himself up. Freytag gets back to his feet and looks up at the title, then down at Sonic who is out. Freytag walks over to Extremely Sonic. Freytag looks down at Sonic and gives him a light kick to the side of his chest. Extremely Sonic suddenly begins to stir and Freytag turns around and gets a pissed look in his eyes.
TOMMY: There is no way to put Extremely Sonic away! There is no way Freytag is gonna be able to win this match! We're gonna have a new champion tonight!
VINNIE: NO! No we're not! Freytag is gonna put Sonic away, just one more move. And Freytag has just picked up a chair, he's gonna lay him out!
TOMMY: And if that doesn't work Vinnie?
VINNIE: Then I don't know what will happen, something awfully good though.
TOMMY: And Extremely Sonic is almost to his feet. Who knows what Freytag is gonna do to finish off Sonic.
Freytag continues staring at Sonic, waiting for him to get up to his feet. Extremely Sonic finally gets to his feet and turns around to see Freytag looking back at him, really pissed off. Extremely Sonic sees the chair in Freytag's hand and tells him to drop it, to find out who really is the man. Freytag looks down at the chair and just drops the chair on the mat, then looks back at ES. They stare at each other, and both men step forward and lock up. ES puts Freytag into a headlock. Freytag pushes ES into the ropes, breaking the headlock. ES hits the ropes and bounces off of them as Freytag drops to the mat right above the chair. ES hops over Freytag and runs to the opposite ropes. Freytag gets back up to his feet, grabbing the chair. ES hits the ropes and bounces off of them as Freytag cocks the chair. Freytag swings as hard as he can to slam the chair over Sonic's head, but ES ducks out of the way and stops. Freytag hits the mat with the chair, but lifts it back up and holds it in front of his face as he spins around. Sonic then superkicks the chair into Freytag's face that the "Assassin" was holding. Freytag drops to the mat, chair flying to the outside of the ring. ES looks down at Freytag laid out in the middle of the ring, then looks up at the title. ES walks over to the ladder and begins to climb.
VINNIE: NO!!! This can't be! He cheated! Sonic superkicked a chair into the champ's face! Someone disqualify Sonic. He shouldn't win the title like this, not like this!
TOMMY: It's been a great match, but there are no disqualifications. We're only moments away from crowning a NEW NCW Heavyweight champion!
VINNIE: Not if I have anything to do with it!
TOMMY: WHAT?!
Vinnie gets up out of his chair and pulls off his headset. ES is about half way up the ladder as Vinnie steps out from behind the table. Vinnie takes a couple steps forward and slides into the ring. Extremely Sonic reaches the top of the ladder and reaches up to grab the Heavyweight title when Vinnie yells at Sonic. Vinnie reaches into his back pocket, then seems to slap the top turnbuckle. Sonic is looking down at Vinnie, but also has the title in his grasp.
TOMMY: I'm here by myself, and Sonic has a choice to make...become heavyweight champion and end the match, or climb down and screw with Vinnie, letting the match to continue.
Sonic gets a large grin on his face and begins climbing down the ladder looking at Vinnie. Vinnie remains in his corner asking Sonic not to come down. Sonic gets to the base of the ladder and steps off. Extremely Sonic walks over to Vinnie and gets into his face. They exchange words and Vinnie slaps Sonic's wrist and steps away. ES looks at his wrist and the camera gets a close up to see that Extremely Sonic is handcuffed to the cable connecting the top turnbuckle to the ringpost. Vinnie turns to run away and ES superkicks Vinnie in the back of the head. Vinnie tumbles to the mat and lays still. ES tries walking towards the ladder, but the handcuffs stop him from doing that. The crowd is cheering like mad and yelling for Chris Freytag to get up. ES tries breaking the chains on the handcuffs, but can't. Aarika runs out from the top of the entrance way and strides to the ring. She reaches ringside and starts pounding on the mat yelling for Chris to get up. A couple of moments go by and Chris Freytag begins to stir. Freytag suddenly jumps to his feet and then stumbles around looking at what's going on. Freytag sees Aarika at ringside and she tells him to turn around. Freytag does and sees ES struggling in the corner of the ring. Freytag walks over and sees that Sonic is handcuffed and really angry. Freytag also looks around to see Vinnie laid out on his stomach on the mat. Freytag turns back to see Sonic reaching to grab Freytag. Freytag looks around at the crowd to hear a lot of cheering from the crowd. Freytag suddenly gives Sonic a crotch chop which really sends Sonic over the edge. ES tries to superkick Freytag, but Freytag ducks out of the way and steps back. Freytag smiles and looks up at the title hanging above him. Freytag walks over to the ladder and begins to climb.
TOMMY: He's gonna do it! Chris Freytag is gonna retain the Heavyweight title in the best match in NCW's history thus far, all because Vinnie handcuffed Extremely Sonic to the turnbuckle. But Sonic had the choice to become champ or to mess with Vinnie, and he chose wrong. Chris Freytag is at the top of the ladder and he's reaching up for the title.
Chris Freytag tries tugging away at the title but it doesn't give. Chris Freytag starts working on unhooking the title and isn't having much success with it. Freytag shrugs his shoulders and decides to just risk himself and fly off the ladder with the title coming down with him. Dorito climbs to his feet on the outside of the ring to see Chris Freytag fly off the top of the ladder onto the mat, risking his own body for his own title. The belt comes off and everyone watching sees Chris Freytag fall from the top off the ladder to the mat. Freytag hits the ground with the title in hand, but then the title bounces away and heads towards Sonic's direction while the ladder tips over. Aarika and Dorito look away as they just feel like they just felt that bump from the top of the ladder. Dorito looks back into the ring to see Extremely Sonic reaching for the title, only being a couple of inches away. Dorito slides into the ring and rushes over. Dorito dropkicks Sonic in the face knocking him out, just as ES got a finger on the title, and flinging him back into the corner. Extremely Sonic and Chris Freytag are unconscious and Dorito lays right beside the world title. Dorito grabs the title and gets back to his feet to see Aarika getting into the ring to check on Freytag. Dorito looks down at the title and walks over to Chris Freytag and Aarika. Aarika looks up at Dorito who stands in front of her. Dorito reaches down and helps Freytag get to his feet. Dorito puts one of Freytag's arms over Aarika's shoulders, and the other around his own. Chris Freytag wakes up and sees Dorito and Aarika holding him up. Freytag looks at Dorito who hands him the World Heavyweight title. Freytag takes the title in hand and holds it up for all to see. The bell rings and "What If" by Creed begins to play.
TOMMY: Freytag has won and is still champion! Freytag just beat Sonic in the damndest match I've ever seen. But Sonic was screwed out of the title by Vinnie, what's gonna happen on Saturday?!
The NCW copyright logo appears on the screen as Freytag holds the title up for all to see, and has Aarika and Dorito holding him up. Sonic is unconscious in the corner of the ring as the screen fades out.
