The scene opens up outside in the late morning, where it's hazy and cloudy. Spying from behind a large metal fence post, and looking through some bushes on the otherside of the fence, stands Matt Helmsley, his hair tied back as he wears some black and silver adidas warm-up suit, with a gymbag in his right hand and a bottle of water in the left as he walks from the front doors, down the walkway, heading to the black, 2001 convertible camaro sitting in the driveway. Kylie Muller suddenly walks out through the front doors of the home, wearing some blue and purple warm-up suit as she carries a gymbag. She stops and turns back, locking the door to the house. She then follows Matt toward the car, who is then getting in, placing the gymbag in the backseat. Matt shuts the door, putting on his seatbelt before starting the engine. Kylie opens the passenger door and gets in herself, her hair pulled back into a couple of pigtails. The door closes and Matt backs out of the driveway after the gate opens. Once in the middle of the road, Matt turns and speeds off into the distance, the gates beginning to close back up once again. The image then pulls back a few feet, finding Dorito and Alicia standing behind the bushwall, peering through it as they stand there in their coats.
Alicia: Come on, let's go.
Dorito helps Alicia up the wall, and she gets onto the top of the six foot fence after a few seconds of pushing from Dorito. She turns and jumps off the metal bar, clearing the bush and inside Matt's yard. Dorito then grabs the top of the fence and pulls himself up, kicking his feet as he tries to get some leverage on the cold steel. He gets up, almost turning over to his side above the spikes, but gets his knee planted as he pushes to his feet. He then jumps off, clearing the bush and landing on his feet before dropping to a knee for a second or two. Alicia pulls him back up and they look at one another for a second, then look over at the cream white two-story home with double front doors. A couple of trees stand in the front yard, as Dorito and Alicia creep toward the entrance. They get to the front door and stop.
Dorito: Got the key?
Alicia: Still do.
She pulls a key out of her pocket, slipping it into the door and unlocking it. She twists the knob and slips inside, Dorito following behind as they close the door. Switching inside, they stop and look about for a few moments at the clean home, looking at what looks to be the living room on the right front the 42" plasma TV seen, a plush staircase just before them as well in front of the doors.
Dorito: Entering the snake's lair.
Alicia: I believe the kitchen and dining area is accessible by going through the right or left and just going back.
Dorito: I take it the bedroom is up the stairs?
Alicia: Yes. Basement is mostly a gym if I remember it, unless he's changed it. A game room down there as well.
Dorito begins walking up the stairs, and Alicia follows behind after a few seconds.
Dorito: This whole place smells like him. I despise it. I hate this place. It should be destroyed, eye for an eye, house for a house.
Alicia: You're still stuck on that?
Dorito: Well wouldn't you be?! He burned my house down! My uncle's beachhouse in Malibu, and Matt burned it down before Christmas just over two years ago, Alicia. I could do the same now.
They get to the top of the stairs, and Dorito runs his hand around a nice green marble lamp on a small table.
Dorito: Could start by throwing this over the edge.
Alicia: You're not breaking anything. We didn't come here for that. Now come on, the bedroom is to the left.
They turn to the left, Dorito looking back towards the right, seeing a closed door at the end of the hallway. They walk up to the closed door on the left, and Alicia opens it up. They walk in the spacious bedroom, finding the king-sized bed itself a total mess as clothes lay everywhere.
Alicia: I think I'm gonna go wander around. Don't you break anything, got it?
Dorito doesn't even reply as he takes notice to the world heavyweight title belt hanging over the bed while Alicia leaves.
Dorito: The proof of his world. The very meaning and answer to Matthew's being, his living, his proof of existence. The night he lost that, was the night I...
Dorito just trails off, looking down for a few moments, then continuing his speaking.
Dorito: One man made Matt do something I have never done. Did something I couldn't do. Something I'm going to do. Something I must do. One man did this, did everything he could to defeat Matt, and he made Matt submit. He made Matt give up his life. This man's name is David Cote. The wolverine sharpshootered his way into a world championship which he had been fighting for, for his entire career. Tomorrow night there are some qualification matches to get into a tournament to determine the first new world wide champion. And my qualification match is against this very man. Matt Helmsley couldn't beat him, for David made him submit his life to him. David made Matt give up what he treasured more than anything else. David is what personifies what a world champion is, what it means, what it's SUPPOSED to mean.
Dorito pauses once more, then continues.
Dorito: I never thought I'd go as far as I did, doing what I did to Sonic. I went that far and didn't even mean to intentionally do it. I wasn't thinking right at the time. But I still did it. I went that far, perhaps I can go further. Time is creeping up on David. Matt looked past him, and look at what David did to him for that. I cannot look past David. I cannot. I cannot look at being world champion for the first. And David just isn't some ordinary tree in the road. No, David is a building in the road that must be climbed to continue on the journey. Youth may be more egotistic and faster, but experience teaches so much. David will know what I'm going to do when I'm thinking it, and how to counter it. Matt couldn't handle him. David still wants some revenge from the first week of Distortion, and to David, I look like Matt. I've got to be like Matt to throw David off, and that's where I'll get him. I have to beat Cote. I have to beat him to get into the tournament, the tournament I can't lose. I've never lost a tournament in my life, and I won't lose this one. My first night as a wrestler I won a tournament, winning three matches in one night. That was three years ago, this is now. David Cote...Matt Helmsley...world champion. I hate this place.
Dorito, looking down, takes notice to something on the floor, and bends down to pick it up as the scene switches to somewhere else in the house where Alicia is seen standing in what looks to be the trophy room, staring at one particular shelf, containing a bunch of framed photos of herself and Matt, looking happy. She picks up the picture of their wedding photo, and stares at it. A tear drips from her eye as she remembers back.
Alicia: You said we'd be together forever. What happened, Matt? What?
A couple more tears come out as she puts the picture back. She looks about the shelf, then looks at another shelf, seeing a couple pictures of Matt as tag team champ, but it's been ripped up and a hand is seen resting on Matt's shoulder.
Alicia: What happened Matt? What was it that caused you and Dorito to be like this? What caused you to become what you are?
She turns away from the trophy room, starting to walk away as the scene switches back to that of Dorito in the bedroom, standing with a bra in both hands, staring down into it.
Dorito: No, it can't be. It just can't...
Dorito ponders for a few moments, then raises the bra to his face and inhales the smell. Dorito then lowers it from his face, staring into it euphorically, when Alicia runs into the room.
Alicia: They're back! We've gotta get out of here now! Wait, what is that?
Dorito suddenly lets the lacy lingerie bra slip from his fingers, falling to the carpet, then looking over at her.
Dorito: It's nothing.
Alicia walks up, bending over to pick up the bra and looks at it.
Alicia: Nothing?
She then jerks her head as she hears voices inside the house. "I thought I locked this" just barely heard on the camera.
Alicia: Quick, if we go out the window, we can jump off and down to the trampoline in the back.
Dorito: Trampoline outside the window in the back?
Alicia: Yeah, he always said it would help him for training from high heights, but I've never seen him use it for that. Now let's go.
They scurry to the window, pulling up on the blinds, then opening up the window.
Dorito: Go.
Alicia looks at him for a second, not even thinking about the bra still in her hand, and she steps back and then dives out the window. Dorito looks out the window to see her standing on her feet on the ground, giving a thumbs up. Dorito then reaches up, pulling on the string to lower the blinds behind him. He gets both feet out the window, then jumps off, falling the flight down onto the frosty trampoline and bouncing off to land on his feet right by Alicia. Alicia then points down and they crawl under the trampoline as the camera pulls around to see Matt and Alicia walking into the room.
Matt: I can't believe you made us come all the way back.
Kylie: Like I said before, I saw some skanky lard of fat waddle her tubby ass into that gym, and she was wearing the same warm-up suit I was wearing. And I'll be damned if I seem like someone unoriginal if I show up after her.
Matt: By thirty seconds.
Kylie: Or by two seconds, or an hour, doesn't matter. Imagine if someone like Dorito showed up on Distortion wearing your wrestling attire while you're wearing the same thing, but he came out earlier in the show?
Matt: Dorito couldn't fill my jock. A horse couldn't.
A smile comes across Kylie's face as she looks at him, then she goes to taking her warm-up top off, her back to the window with her sports bra on as Matt feels a breeze.
Matt: Is the window open?
Kylie: I didn't open it.
Matt: Like you locked the door?
Kylie: I swear I did.
Matt walks to the window, grabbing the pullstring and pulls on the blinds to see the window wide-open.
Matt: I guess it is good we came back. Front doors are unlocked and this window is wide open, which would have made it really cold when we get back from the gym.
Kylie: Hmm, what to wear?
Matt: Oh god...
Matt closes the window, then shuts the blinds. The scene then fades out from there.
