2003 Winter Meetings

Here was the agenda for the 2003 Winter Meetings, held Saturday, January 11th at 7PM at Commissioner McKeen's house.

1. The maximum number of players waived on any given date will be increased to two. Team that waives first has option of waiving both before 2nd team is allowed to waive. This was voted down.

2. Dice rolling pertaining to the roller of the 20-sided die. Defense/Offense/Catching, etc... The current dice rolling situations were affirmed, no changes will be made.

3. If all games are not complete that affect playoff positions, the system of determining the playoff spots will be based upon winning percentage of all games played, unless trailing team is actually tied in games back or ahead in games back, in which case a tie would be declared. This was voted in for the 2003 season.

4. If someone fails to complete playoff relevant games, a current volunteering manager may make up games for absent manager if agreed upon by all managers vying for the aforementioned playoff position. The managers MUST agree upon volunteers. This was voted down.

The following were agenda items for the 2004 season:

5. If the World Series champion comes from Division 3, that team will pick last in both the August and January draft. Affected teams will move up one draft position. This was voted in for the 2004 season.

6. New supplementary system(old system can still apply if needed) of games allowed to be played by batters. This was voted in for the 2004 season.
