Estonia
Estonia's first Olympic Champion was 24-year old weightlifter Alfred Neuland, who won the lightweight contest at Antwerp on 28 August 1920.
Estonia won Gold six times up to 1936, but became a part of the Soviet Union after the war. It was to take another 56 years before the Estonian flag would be raised again at an Olympic Games.
