The UWL - Rules
YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE RULES BEFORE JOINING THE UWL. IF YOU JOINED ALREADY, THESE ARE THE RULES. IF YOU'RE OLD AND THESE RULES LOOK NEW, WELL...THESE ARE THE NEW RULES! If you break a rule, but say you didn't know it was a rule, because then I don't care. You read them before you join and it's up any time you want to look at them. You take your chances! If you feel there is a rule that I've missed, or have any questions, please tell/ask me.
General
--If you don't plan on showing some sort of effort here, go away..., if you don't like other people wrestlers get the hell out of here and if you plan on whining and ruining other people's fun, screw off!
--Real and Fake wrestlers allowed.
--Only 4 wrestlers per person, it wouldn't be fair otherwise.
--There is no stables limit.
--Please do me a favor and be consistent throughout the stable with the face/heel thing... can't have half booed and half cheered... if you are in a stable make sure you communicate well enough to get that all clear.
--Have some damn fun... and remember... just because a wrestler doesn't like your wrestler... doesn't mean that the person hates you... don't take things personally, it's just role-playing... if anyone receives any hate mail or anything from another person, let me know and they will be taken care of. I'm going to kill you.
--Don't email asking when results are going to be up. I only do the UWL pay-per-views. Any other card, e-mail the card writer about when they are going to send the results to me!
--If you want to change a wrestler, don't announce it in The UWL Wrestling Ring without letting me know first. Any changes will go unnoticed and I will allow somebody else to pick that wrestler.
--If you don't want your wrestler used once you leave the UWL, I suggest you change the name of your wrestler because if your wrestler EVER wrestled in the UWL, he will be used in any and all ways. So if you have a copyright wrestler and you don't want him to look bad once you leave, then change the name of your wrestler(s).
Warnings/Suspensions
-- If you play by the rules you won't have to worry about these at all. There are different ways you can get warnings. Read the rest of this to find out how. (Ohhhh... the suspense!!)
--You will receive warnings via email. You must forward the warning back to me, so I know you are aware of it. Not responding to a warning within a week will result in an automatic 1 week suspension.
--Suspensions can be the reason of something you or your character did. I'll email you why you have been suspend and for how long.
Role Playing
--The role-play minimum is 2 every week ......the week goes from Sunday-Saturday...
--Be interesting, be creative... and no one liner. If you do one liners, you will not be taken seriously when it comes to getting championship matches.
--Not everybody can be expected to roleplay like the Real Person. This goes expectly for owners of FAKE Wrestler. Don't try judging someone because they don't roleplay exactly like the real person. Nobody can be expected to roleplay like the real person, which I had to explain earlier to a current member. They try their best!
--No Attacking other people (including your truly) in your Rps. Unless u have permission by that person(s). If you are attacked with being asked, tell me. Attacking someone without permission will result in an automatic job (loss) and a warning.
--Using the terms like pussy or titty or anything of that nature or racist comments will not be tolerated... (Unless it's in your character to do so. And I know who you are) the first offense will result in an automatic job (loss) in your next fight... the second offense will result in a one week suspension and if you are a title holder... you will be stripped of your title... third offense will result in an immediate dismissal from the fed.
--I don't give a liking too much cursing. Please keep it low if you do it. That drived me crazy and if you don't know how to roleplay without cursing, then leave the UWL!
--Impostering another wrestler will really piss me off! If you say someone is impostering you, let me know... I'll find out if it's true or not. Since every IP addess is recorded, this makes it too hard to get away with any "FAKE" roleplays. If you're caught, then you will have to check out the supensions above. This rule DOES NOT come into play in a stable role-play.
--If you depend on other people RPing for you, you're not going to win. When I say a minimum of 2 RP every week, I mean a singles Role-play, not a group.
Winning
--Wins are determinded by roleplays! If you're going to half ass a roleplay because you know storyline wise you have to defend your title at an upcoming pay per view... chances are you won't make it to that PPV. So either try or go home!
Whining
--Plain and simple, don't do it!!! Constructive Criticism is welcome, if you feel you have a way to make the UWL better, let me know. If you feel that I have made an incorrect decision, let me know but don't whine! I listen to everyone and try to make everyone happy, if you whine to me, I'll tend to ignore you. I'll also get really mad if i get emails saying stuff like "you suck as an owner." If you don't like the way I run things around here. Quit! I don't have time for losers who can't take all the UWL action, like you!
Titles
--All titles must be defended a minimum of once every 2 weeks. Lack of title shots given results in a stripping of the title. Champions can accept or deny any title shot asked of them, unless the Prez intervenes and makes the match because he feels like it. And i will do this, don't think I won't! I want to see some matches just as much as everyone else.
--Hardcore Belt will always be defended in a Falls Count Anywhere, No DQ, hardcore/weapons match.
--The Cruiserweight Belt is for 230 lbs. and under.
--For all the new wrestlers that join, don't expect a title shot right away. I will just disregarde any emails asking for a title match from a new comer. Build up your win/loss record before you ask for a title shot.
Tag Teams
--If you're involved in a tag team match and you are not an official tag team with your partner, the win/loss will go on your singles record.
Cards
--Up to 2 matches per person... per card... unless by special order of me.
--There will be three cards, one on Monday, one on Thursday and one PPV on certain Sundays. You will all sign your own matches for the weekly cards unless I feel there are matches that I want to see. The only way to sign a match is if your opponent agrees, and it is sent through the form. If you wish to decline a match signed, email me immediately! If this is not done it will be assumed you want the match. I will post all upcoming PPV matches in the preview section of each PPV card. This gives you a hint of what to expect for each PPV card coming up.
--I will try to get the cards up before 9:00 pm EST. If they're not up by then.... just wait longer.... jk..... I'll explain once they're up, either in the results themselves or on the main page.
Special Stipulations
--Special stipulations for a match must be agreed upon by both parties... and must be kept by the loser.
--"Loser Leaves Fed" matches must be approved by me as well...
Quitting
--Well I haven't made a form for this one, so you're going to have to email me your resignation.
--Please don't be a sore loser. If you swear at me during role-play and quit... well there's not much I can do but to make sure you don't come back.
--If you want to quit, sign a final match in which you'll lose. Like a "Loser Leave Fed" match or do an interesting role-play to say good-bye.
If you leave on good terms, I'll have no problem letting you back in, but you you're being an bytch when you leave, you're not coming back.
Card Writers
--All card writers have SOME power about the outcome in a match. If I feel that a win need to be turned into a lost, I will do that. So if someone has a complaint please email me about a win or loss, not the card writers. They just write who win. I decide whether or not it should become official. Also, cardwriters cannot have more than 2 of their wrestlers wrestle on a single card. I don't care if you make your wrestlers lose. I will make a wrestler lose on the never next card, and I will pick which wrestler does the JOB!
Prez's Role
--I'm here to help you out with ideas or story lines if you need it. Don't be afraid to ask. I'm not going to have your guy lose if you can't come up with an idea AND you've asked me. If you haven't asked me, that's when you lose.
--The main rule here is to DON'T PISS ME OFF!!! But if you want your character to be a loser than go right ahead. I won't mind coming out of retirement and kicking the living crap out of your character.
--I have the final say so in EVERYTHING involving UWL and it's members. I decide if an angle goes through. If you try to get something pass me and just tell the cardwriters, well I pick up pretty damn quick and I will use "TNT" Adam to kill any storyline you have going!
