Head Coaches
Dorothy Webb
As head coach at Wellesley College since 1993, Webb has amassed a record of 202-37. Her teams have won five consecutive NEW 8/NEWMAC Conference Championships (1995 to 1999), one ECAC Championship (1995) and three consecutive Division III New England Regional Championships (1997-1999). The team finished in the top eight in the country in 1997 and 1999, and traveled to the Final Four of the Division III National Championship Tournament in 1998, defeating top-seeded Juniata College in the consolation match for a third-place national ranking. Webb has earned five NEW 8 Coach of the Year awards (1995-1999) and three NCAA Division III New England Regional Coach of the Year awards (1997-1999). As a player at the University of the Pacific, Webb was a member of the two-time NCAA Division I National Championship Volleyball Team and currently holds the NCAA record for most tournament digs. A five-time NCAA and USAV All-American, Webb has also played professionally both indoors and out, most recently on the Bud Light four-person volleyball league and the WPVA.
Tom Wilson
As the assistant coach at Wellesley College since 1997, Wilson has helped Dorothy Webb guide her squad to a 105-7 record during the last three seasons. As the head men's coach at Harvard University since 1999, Wilson has led the Crimson to their first consecutive winning seasons in nearly a decade, capping the 2000 season with Harvard's first ever appearance in the East Regional NCAA quarterfinals. He has coached several women's USAV teams to top five finishes at the USAV National Championships, and has led his own men's seniors team to top-three finishes at each of the last six national tournaments, including a first-place finish for 30s-and-over in the 2000 Championships. Winner of New England's Rick Pierce Sportsmanship award, Wilson has also collected a host of playing honors, including two USAV All-American awards, three regional MVP awards, and four all-region selections, as well as being named "middle hitter of the decade" in the Heart of America Region.
