For our vacation this spring we decided to go meet some of the friends that I have known and chatted with online for the past couple years. We started out on a Monday morning from home here in Michigan. After about 9 hours driving we arrived in Minneapolis, Minnesota. That night we went out to dinner with Devon and her parents. I've known Devon over 2 years, chatting with her in the Christian Fellowship chat room on Prodigy Classic.

She is currently in her sophomore year of college at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She was home in Minneapolis for spring break the week we were on vacation. We had a great dinner at a place called Doolittles Air Cafe. If any of you visit Minneapolis, we highly recommend it. They have four locations around the city.

The next day we went to the Mall of America. What a place!! Over 500 stores on 4 floors, with an amusement park ("Camp Snoopy") in the center. We did a lot of looking and a little shopping. Tuesday night after shopping we got together with Bill and Michelle Johson, friends who used to live down here near us. They have four high-energy boys. We had a nice dinner with them and had the chance to catch up with what was happening in our lives.

The next morning we took off on our long drive to Missouri for the other part of our vacation.
