Yuka said at this interview that when she was about 16, she wasn't ecstatic about spending time with her parents because she use to be with them 24 hours a day. That's because Yuka's parents acted as her coach too. Now that Yuka splits her training time between Japan and Ottawa, Canada, Yuka says that she misses and needs her parents.
