Good news and bad news...
First some bad news, Jody is going back out west. That means that Pumped Skate Park is closing its doors for good. It was good while it lasted.
Ok a few good things are happening in and around the beautiful Elm City. Number one, the city is building a new park this year for sure. Number two, Woodstock bought the ramps from Pumped and are planning on opening a new indoor park, this is just a rumour. And last but certainly not least Brian Muir has opened a new store called EastSide Skateboards. The shop is located right downtown on Queen St. right across form the old Post Office (I think). Stop by and show your support, good selection of boards and supplies with shoes and everything else coming soon.

Also to do with Pumped, they finally got some more ramps and i guess its getting pretty good, haven't checked it out myself due to lack of $$$ but you should. Price is $45/month so if yeah got the money get going.

Ok here goes.
From what I hear Fredericton will be getting a new skatepark next summer. It is to be located up in the Forrest Hill area, whether or not it will fail like past attempts I wait to see.
On the topic of skateparks, there is now a skate park called "Pumped" open in Fredericton's industrial park (if you know where the pyramid wharehouse is its located out back in the same complex). Its just starting out and needs some work but things are looking towards a bright future.
I was emailed about another skateboard site out of Fredericton called "Mike's Skate Page", anyways check it out and give him some support.
Thats all for now, and most likely all for a while since Fredericton is pretty boring in the winter, and the summer, and the fall, and the spring...
