SHOES:

Tanel 360 made the best cleats for highland games: the low-top "Original" model with the Solid cleat ring in the front. I wear this shoe for highland games, and I recommend them. It enables you to spin around on your toes without slipping. Excellent for the stone and the weight throw; can be used for all events.

Tanel is now back in business after a 3-year hiatus; however, they no longer make the original model. The TMS (cleat) model and the Elite (turf) model are still the best shoes currently available (turf shoe is best for fair conditions; cleat shoe is best for wet grass and muddy conditions), but they are not as good as the original solid ring. Tanel is more focused on softball since they came back in business. However, we need to let them know that there is a high demand for their shoes for highland games. So please do the following:

My link has tracking that shows that you came from Scottish Heavy Athletics. When you go to tanel 360, use my link to show them that there is a high demand. Also if you order their shoes, email a comment that you are not a softball player, you are using them for highland games, how good their shoes are for highland games, and how you wish they would start making the original model again. Thanks!
