Eagles improve to 3-1 on season

The Eagles improved to 3-1 on the season with a 64-58 victory. "I feel we dodged a bullet tonight. We beat a pretty good team in their gym," said coach Robey. "The girls really handled it well." Aberdeen led the entire game, but the Lynx pulled to within two heading into the final quarter, 44-42. A key 3 pointer by Dawn Sillman and big shots from Rebecca Goodman and Jen Murphy helped the Eagles pull away at the end for their second straight win. "We knew we had to come together as a team. In the third quarter, we fought off some runs they had and stuck together as a team and got through it," said Sillman, who led the Eagles with 15 points. Amy Fauth, Hilary Aden, and Murphy each added 10 points and Goodman tossed in 9 for Central, which shot 45 percent from the field.
