Eagles drop 4th straight in Yankton
Katie Norman hit a three pointer with a minute to play to tie the game in Yankton on Friday night, but Yankton scored on the ensueing possession to take a 43-41 lead. The Eagles called two timeouts in the final moments to try and get the tying or winning shot, but couldn't get a number of chances at the basket to fall in the closing seconds. In a game marred by foul trouble by both teams, Aberdeen Central was able to keep the game close by making 19-24 from the freethrow line. With the loss, the Eagles drop to 4-7 and return home next Friday when they host undefeated Pierre, the state's second ranked AA team.
