Eagles fall to Governors


Aberdeen Central was dealt their third loss of the season Saturday night at Pierre. Playing their second straight game without starting point guard Rebecca Goodman, Central stuggled all night from the field and in the rebounding battle. The Govs grabbed 21 more rebounds than the Eagles, who only tallied 14 boards on the night. Junior Katie Norman was the lone bright spot for the Eagles offense, leading Aberdeen Central for the second straight night in scoring with 14 points. Central drops to 5-3 on the season, 4-2 in the ESD. Next up for the Eagles is Friday night when the Eagles host the Mitchell Kernels, ending a 6 game road trip.
