Eagles roll past Mitchell


The Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles continued their winning ways on Friday night, running past the Mitchell Kernels by a 58-28 margin. The win improved the Eagles to 6-2, and marked the third straight game where the Golden Eagles have found their offensive rythem, coupled with great defensive pressure. Tanya Krage led the Eagles in scoring with 17 points and was a force defensively with 7 steals. Steph Rath also played a major role with 12 points and 11 rebounds. The Eagles defense held the Kernels scoreless in the second period en route to a 30-7 halftime lead, then finished off the Kernels in the second half. Next up for Aberdeen Central is Saturday night when they host the Cobblers of Rapid City Central.
