Eagles break Arrows

In the last regular season game of the season at the Arena, the Golden Eagles jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the first 3 minutes, and never looked back in defeating #3 ranked Watertown 49-38. Watertown was able to stay close much of the first half thanks to Division I prospect Jaime Berry, who had 13 of her teams 19 halftime points, many coming on aggressive moves to the basket. Dawn Sillman and Jen Murphy helped keep the Arrows at bay, however, as Sillman connected for three 3 pointers in the game and Murphy was consistent in the lane for 13 points. With the win, the Eagles improve to 11-5 overall and 9-4 in the ESD. The Eagles wind up the regular season at #2 Yankton in their brand new facility on Saturday night.
