Twenty Six brave competitors turned up for the January meeting to find the access road blocked due to flooding and a trek to take all the stuff to the field. However although it was a cold start about minus 2 degrees Celsius when we got there, the day did eventually warm up (well to just positive anyway) Most slots ran for about 6 to 7mins but saying that a 9min 47sec and max landing point was also recorded by Tony Vale. Dropping only 7 points throughout the day (due to a bad landing) Tony Gurrier was the overall leader in the Open Comp with John Hulett taking the 100S prize. Many thanks to all for turning up and to the normal team for all the help.
