January the 13th's weather forecast was dire to say the least high winds and rain. Arriving at the site early saw 38 competitors turn up to be faced with lightish winds and a cloud base below launch height. We all thought that would be it for the day, and then eventually by 11.15am the cloud base had risen just enough to start the competition. With the help of all we managed to push the competition along at a fair old speed and get the required three rounds in. The first slot of round three saw both Tony Guerrier and Steve Haley going in with 2000 points each. With the eventual winner of the slot and Competition being Tony Guerrier. Some late bits of good flying saw Pete Weston and Ken Goodard coming up the ranks to finish high up on the leaderboard for the day. The 100S winner being Richard Yates.
