February 2002
A strong wind was forecast for the February competition and this showed in the number of competitors that turned up. Although there was a good breeze going it didn't stop the competition from starting on time. Well after I had rematrixed as I left Mark Easey out of the matrix. I think the people that did not turn up missed a good if not short flying day as only few of the slots went past the six minute mark. Even so some good flying was seen with Austin Guerrier taking the day in the Open competition and Mike Shaw winning the 100S.
