Poyet - The Fans Decide

Sir,

I don't know about the jilted teenager bit, but it is like an ex-girlfriend who was fantastic while she was shagging your brains out but now that she's giving it to another bloke she's just another bitch.

Scott.

Sir,

I think the constant abuse that you heap on Poyet is completely out of line. He was a great servant for the club and his loyalty is beyond question. So what if he was part the Real Zaragoza team that beat us in the Cup Winners Cup ?

Who cares if sold his soul for 30 pieces of silver to join hated north London scum, Tottenham ? So what if he turned down a contract extension and then claimed he was forced out of the club ? Does it really matter that he takes every opportunity to stick the boot into Chelsea, both in the papers and on the pitch ?

I say give the man a break ! Let bygones be bygones !

Yours
G Hoddle
North London

Sir,

Having read both Klaus' and Dr Les' Comments, I now feel they are both totally right... right off the fucking plot ! They should try and get at least one life between them. Both seem to have the IQ of 40% below plankton (and that's particulaly thick plankton at best).

I agree with you about Gus - he could've stayed and fought for his place, but he thought he was beyond that and got his just dessert... he could have gone anywhere, preferably back to drug and war torn South America, but no: he chose to go to Tottering ColdSpur. Bad Luck to him and good riddance !

(Name withheld for security reasons)

Sir,

Dr Les wins hands down on this one. To sign for them was bad enough - to kiss their fucking shirt was a disgrace. Mark Hughes, Dennis Wise and SuperDan understood us fans; Gus clearly didn't.

Poyet's face would be nicely at home between Mrs Beckam's shapely pins.

Yours etc.,
Star.

If any of these letters have left you spluttering into your coffee, whether with indignation or admiration, here's your chance to have your say on the Poyet debate. Drop me a line.
