Letter from a Barnet fan to Football 365 (follow up to earlier letter) :

This is a heartfelt plea from the supporters of Barnet
FC in our fight for survival. John Prescott deemed it
sensible to block our proposed move to Copthall
Stadium recently. Thus we are homeless and unless we
find a new ground in ONE YEAR we are to be expelled
from the football league. Sound familiar?

Basically, Prescott has said we need to move but will
not allow us to move anywhere nor groundshare with
anyone. This has effectively sounded the death knell
of Barnet Football Club. As supporters, we have saved
our club from extinction before and now we must do it
again.

I have planned a demonstration that will take place
outside Downing Street in protest to the disgraceful
treatment dished out to all lower league clubs. A
precedent has been set by the government and must not
be allowed to continue. Several clubs will attend in a
show of unification from the lower leagues. I
desperately need you guys to cover the event and give
clubs like Barnet the support we crave. Thank you for
your support.
