Frankfurt has the distinction of scoring the first points in World League history when nose tackle Chris Williams tackled London running back Judd Garrett in the endzone for a saftey. Although, they scored the first points, they were not able to win their first game, falling to the Monarchs 24-11. The team enjoyed a highly successful first year, going 7-3 in the highly competitive European Division. Despite owning the third best record in the league, they did not make the playoffs. Frankfurt continues to play in the new World League.
