Accomplishments during tenure in band program: Because of my belief in "Striving for the Highest" I revolutionized the student position of Business Manager, served as Section Leader of the largest Saxophone Section in band history (22 members), was unanimously elected Band President my last year in band and was one of only two oldheads in band history to "crab" a NEW section (without any prior experience)
after the season had already begun. I was Band President and the Saxophone Section Leader in 1995 when I successfully crabbed the Tuba Section and made an instant impact in terms of musical performance and overall showmanship.
