Alpha Zeta Fraternity

The Morrill Chapter

"Let us build a proud home for Alpha Zeta up on the hill."

- Brother John Runk, Class of 1910

Hello Friends! Welcome to my Alpha Zeta - Morrill Chapter web site. Alpha Zeta is an honorary professional agricultural fraternity. Founded in 1897 at the Ohio State University, Alpha Zeta was the first fraternity to recognize agriculture as a legitimate major. Penn State's Morrill Chapter, established in January of 1898, has always promoted scholarship, leadership, character and fellowship among its members. Unlike other fraternities, Alpha Zeta is both an honorary and social fraternity, stressing high academic achievement along with the strong bonds of friendship. We are consistently among the top ten fraternities in grade point average.

We boast a strong Brotherhood that is complimented by an active Sister program. Together, we work on a variety of projects and activities which not only better ourselves, but promote agriculture in the community. Brothers and Sisters are visible on campus, holding office in many clubs and organizations on Ag Hill and throughout the University. Members are proud of our beautiful house, which is conveniently located next to Rec Hall and the Nittany Lion Shrine.

This page is continuously growing. For now, click here to be jettisoned to the National AZ Web Site!! From here, you can connect to many interesting sites, including the Home Pages of other AZ Chapters from all across the country. Find out what other chapters are doing in the upcoming year!
