FEATURED TOPIC:
THE NEW TAX CUT

The new tax cut lowers all federal income tax rates by two percentage points, except for the top rate, which will drop 3.6 percentage points - from 38.6 to 35. It also essentially removes the so-called "marriage penalty" by raising the standard deduction from married couples from $7,850 to $9,500, which is now twice the standard deduction for single people.  Starting in the third week of June, the IRS will mail employers copies of the new federal tax withholding formulas. Companies are expected to incorporate them into their payroll systems by July if not sooner.   If you would like to figure out how much more money you'll have for each pay period, see the new withholding guidelines at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/n1036.pdf

RECENT ACTIVITY NEWS/NOTES:
My present investment bias is that I am bullish on the market, especially the heavyweight internets. After coming back from a mini vacation I am presently doing nothing with my accounts.
